Absolutely fantastic ! All 5 caterpillars survived and grew into butterflies.... brilliant experience.... fab product.

Do not buy live caterpillars with the delivery to the Contintal Europe. It takes more than 2 weeks to deliver the package. Meanwhile there are no caterpillars, but chrysalides. I ordered 2 refills. In one got 1 chrysalis, in another 2. The other caterpillars are dead. So you cannot follow the whole circle of live. Waste of money and disappointed children. I contacted the Insect Lore. They use the Brexit and customs as an excuse. No replacement offered, no refund. Shame on you, Insect Lore. If you cannot ensure the timely delivery, do not sell life insects to the EU!!!

Awful experience, bought stick insects and caterpillars, followed the instructions given, everything died!

Caterpillars delivered in Ireland. I was worried that the international travel would affect them but they were properly packed and all caterpillars arrived healthy.

Now just waiting for them to grow into beautiful butterflies :)

We bought as a “refill” for our habitat, having nurtured previous hatchings and been very happy.
We were doing really well until one very hungry caterpillar munched his way through the rest. At least the kids have learned that nature is as dangerous as it is beautiful!
Such a shame as no one can predict a caterpillars cannibalistic tendencies.

We had a bad experience where the caterpillars didn’t chrysalise and the cup went mouldy

Awful experience! The cloth on the lid where the caterpillars hang broke. Rang customer service she said they'll be fine pop them on kitchen roll or toilet roll after 3 days which we did. Some caterpillars tried emerging from their chrysalis however didn't make it fully out, crumpled wings and stuck. All died! My child was completely devastated as was I. After a further phone call, customer services told me to send photos of them which I have and I have, still not had a response 3 weeks on! I had planned to do this with my class at school next term however with such an awful experience and awful customer services I don't think I will bother.

Fantastic experience raising these caterpillars

I ordered 2 tubs of Caterpillars from this store and I selected a pre delivery date. I waited for them to arrive but they never did. I contacted customer service who resent my order and I had them with in 2 days.

My daughter is 3 and she was fascinated by them but was also eager to release them because they were hungry. It has been nice to have something to look forward to during this lockdown. Also only 1 or 2 butterflies appeared every couple of days so it made the experience last that bit longer.

I work in a school and this is something we experienced as a class every year as part of the mini beast topic. The children absolutely love it which is why I thought to get them for my daughter. They don't need any looking after until they are butterflies.

We were given this as a present for my daughter who is 3. Our 5 caterpillars arrived very quickly and everything we needed was supplied. It was amazing for my daughter to see the caterpillars grow and then become chrysalides. After a few days we had 5 beautiful butterflies.

My daughter had lots of fun releasing them and they even rested on her hand before flying away.
