Skiing in April

Noticed that the snow conditions in the Alps were very good for late season. So was looking at IgluSki website and noticed some really good deals. Called their office and ski holiday team; spoke with Adam who confirmed all the details were correct and then booked it. We have previously stayed in hotels, but this was a Chalet holiday and it was exactly as shown online, very comfortable, our chalet host was a super cook and the skiing was great. Looking forward to next season.

Great holiday, but disappointed by lack of menu options for Vegetarians and children

Whilst we enjoyed an excellent week of skiing at Les Menuires, and our room, location and pool at the Higalik Hotel were good, with regret we were disappointed with the Telemark Restaurant. The limited half board menu meant there was very little choice, particularly for vegetarians and children. It was the same vegetarian and fish options, and the same four options on the children’s menu, all week. As the week went on, the starter options were reduced to just two, which were repeats. So my wife and our children had the same meal several times during the week. As a vegetarian my wife was reduced to having two starters as an evening meal. This is not what we were expecting and no attempt at alternatives was offered.
The service in the Telemark Restaurant was also very slow, particularly on the 4th of April and the 9th of April. On the 9th we took our table at 6.45pm, and at 9pm we were still waiting for our desert to be served. We bought our complaint to the attention of Higalik reception, and to Crystal by email, on the morning of the 10th, which should have been enough time to arrange an alternative vegetarian option for the evening of the 10th. Sadly this was not the case. In short, with regards our evening meals at the Telemark, we did not get what we paid for. On our return we have written again to the Higalik Hotel, and await a response. We would be wary of booking a ski holiday on a half board basis in future. As for Iglu, their service in the run up to our holiday was good (tip: if there is no financial incentive to do so, to help spread the cost of your holiday, don’t book your lift passes when you book your holiday, add them to your booking a couple of weeks before departure). We did have a bit of a farce with TUI, as the seat allocation software split our family of five into three groups, leaving an 8 year old with no adult. This was resolved by the gate staff and flight crew shuffling other passengers around. Apparently it is against safety regulations for under 12s to fly without adult supervision, so why split the group up? Other than that we had a great trip, and would recommend Iglu, Crystal and Les Menuires.

Excellent service

Excellent service, Paul was extremely helpful in making sure all details were covered and correct as per our request, thoroughly double checked everything and made the booking very easy and straightforward for us.

First class service!

I have booked many ski trips through IgluSki and have never been disappointed. The service provided by the specialist team is first class. In this case, Paul Eastin was exceptional. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly, he made several suggestions designed to improve our experience and found what was nothing short of a brilliant holiday. The location, accommodation, facilities, food and skiing was again superb. Will with certainty book through the company again next year.

I was very pleased with Iglu

I was very pleased with Iglu. The booking process was good and the support offered from the team was excellent. When I had questions, these were resolved promptly. The accommodation was as advertised and good quality. We have had a super holiday. The box of wine on booking was a nice gesture.

Iglu Ski rely on another company Crystal Ski who were totally unresponsive all vacation on any messages sent to their prescribed SMS number.

Really helpful

We use iglu for cruises and now we have used them for ski holiday. Their expertise is most welcome and Ben was really helpful whilst we were choosing the best resort for us.

Iglu ski holiday

I have been booking a family ski holiday with Iglu Ski for a number of years. Paul Easton at Iglu has been always helpful with his advice on the Club Med location and better price. We came back from our Easter ski holiday in France last weekend. We enjoyed it very much. One of the best skiing experiences.

Absolute first class service from…

Absolute first class service from nurmous staff members Ben and Max +
I started off with 1 booking for my son and his father , then added another person in another chalet as Whistler in Val d'Isère was fully booked then my other son wanted to go so back on the phone to Iglu who sorted it with expert knowledge and professionalism.
Look forward to booking again Christmas or New Year we can highly recommend iglu ski . Thank you so much and all the men/boys still in val d'isere and Absolutely loving it . Chalets review to follow excellent accommodation and hosts

A huge thank you to the Iglu team

A huge thank you to the Iglu team, especially to Seb.
I booked very late, and he was awesome. He found us the perfect deal for my party making sure everyone travelling got what they needed and helping us to find the perfect combination of good price and good snow.
He sorted the extras, and gave info on the things he couldn’t book for me.
The whole process was simple from start to finish, and our time in the mountains has been incredible. He seems to have even sorted the weather.
I have used Iglu for years and have never had a bad trip with them, but this year they have surpassed themselves.
Thanks everyone. Looking forward to next season already 🥳
