Poor service and response
I had raised a damage claim for a broken lock to my main entrance door, but the claim was outrightly rejected mentioning that this type of claim isnt covered. The damage in the door posed a security threat to my house and hence, I do not understand why such a fundamental high risk damage isnt considered to be covered in the home insurance policy. Extremely bad experience!

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. I have reported 2 home claims and 1 car claim and they always found a way to interpret the claim in their favour. They are only making money but do not repay back when you need them. Look for a better insurance in my view!

Terrible experience
We had a terrible experience with If. They badly misrepresented what was included in the home insurance package when purchasing insurance (by phone). Reaching a customer service agent takes too much time time, and even if you choose assistance in English, you might not get it.

The first time I dealt with insurance…
The first time I dealt with insurance because of a lost key. I lost the key in September 2023 and now it is 2024 April!! IF doesn't care to fix it, Hedin Bil Stäket is just making excuses they ordered the part but didn't come since last year.. IF shows no response to emails and shows no sorry for my situation! But I will be involving my lawyer soon and they will pay more damages due to not helping their customer!! It is not normal to wait for almost one year with no promise, hope or a apologise from IF.

Insurance agents that like to play lawyer😂
I am seriously considering changing my insurance provider. This decision is based on the very slow response time of the company and then the attempt of the staff to assume the role of the lawyer when a claim is filed. This is done, despite all documents were submitted as requested and even then name and telephone number of the consulting physician has been furnished.

False promises before signing the insurance
I have this insurance with IF in 5 years, paying the greatest one for one villa and two cars. Before renewing the villa insurance, I asked by email and telefone, if pool leakage is included in my insurance. The answer by email and phone was yes, up to 100,000. Now that the pool is leaked, they say it is not. A lady is sitting there, without involving an expert and giving reasonings for the cause of damage like a class one idiot in my eyes who is a PhD in teh field with 25 years of experience. It seems, when the compensation is a couple of thousands, they are there but above, they will find a way to fool you.
Here is my ärende number so that they dont come with a typical copy pasted answers that we dont see you case, please contact customer service. My case number is 241920067.
