Visited the Grimsby store on August 7th, excellent customer service, friendly and extremely helpful staff.
Delighted with my purchase and definitely purchase again from the store.

I found something I wanted and at a reasonable price which was further helped with a discount. I also qualified for free delivery which was a bonus. Website very easy to use.

Abysmal service, guaranteed me if the gift wasn't liked aslong as it was in the original packaging then it could be returned. Then I travel back to the store to return it the next day. 2 hours round trip, and they tell me no can't be returned. And customer service told me tough luck.

My 16 year old niece and I got our ears pierced by Jade. My niece was very nervous and is prone to fainting and Jade made us both feel comfortable and safe. She carefully and sensitively took us through the procedure and we liked the deal you get whereby you purchase a pair of special studs and get a care kit including saline solution and the piercing for free.

I am impressed with the service I received at my Bedford store when returning and online pruchase and subsequently purchasing another item. The return was dealt with quickly and efficiently and the refund in my acount within two days. Janice, who helped me decide on another necklace had infinite patience with me without being at all pushy. What treat to have an actual shop to go in.

Card payment not working on a discounted item. This is because H.Samuel don’t allow return but don’t tell you that until after buying the item through a third party credit company. They should just inform the paying customers that this is the case beforehand and not have card payment as a payment option, this would limit the amount of complaints and prevent you from losing customers.

I put first to be delivered to the shop and I tried more than one hour to change to home delivery and I couldn’t.Later they let me to change.The sistem is not working properly

I bought a gift for my friend’s special birthday. I emailed H Samuel and said Having received the bracelet, I am very disappointed in the box. I showed it to my family and wanted their opinion their reply was (what happened to the earrings). As you can see from attachment it looks like half a gift I do not understand why the front of the box inlay has these holes. It does not do the gift justice and I cannot give the present over like this. Their reply was Due to the nature of the item, this would not fit in just a standard bracelet box which is why it is in the box you have received, I apologise if you are not happy with this. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
Now the bracelet is small there is nothing protruding from it to hinder a normal bracelet box from closing. I emailed them back It looks so tacky why would it not have a box for it? I am so deeply disappointed and the reason alone, for such a large company, lacks resourcefulness and is very poor. Instead of trying to find me a solution, you just end the email.
How can a Jeweller of this size not have a box for a bracelet. Will not shop there again. No help in any way not even offer of assisting in finding something appropriate. Instead I was told you can return. I do not have time now

Have now been given a refund from H Samuel via PayPal of £65.22, when the amount should be £125.99???
