The kitchen design and delivery were spot on.
But unlike other branches I never got a box of screws, a tube of glue nothing 😩and to think my customer went out there way to go to Kingston Howdens instead of their local branch.

I love my new Howdens kitchen that was finished just before Christmas. A massive thank you to Becca (Howdens Kingston) who was absolutely brilliant in helping me to choose the right units and appliances as well as the colour. I asked her so many questions (in person and via email!) and she always got back to me immediately and also didn't mind me popping in a few times to refresh my memory on what I had chosen. Any changes were swiftly actioned by Becca and she always kept me updated on everything. Becca suggested lots of really good ideas for the space and I am delighted with my kitchen. I had every confidence in Becca that the finished kitchen would be perfect - and it is! I will be recommending Howdens Kingston to everyone I know. Excellent service and products, thank you.

I would just like to thank all of the staff at the Kingston upon Thames branch, from the manager, sales staff and the warehouse staff for being very helpful when I enquired about any items that I needed for my latest project. They would inform me of any special trade offers and discounts that were happening that I might want to purchase for ongoing or future projects. One of the main reasons that I have been using Howdens a lot more often now is that there is an uplifting atmosphere as soon as you walk into the branch of being greeted as a valuable customer, and they remember my name ( that goes a long way in my estimation). Thank you.

First class service from Howdens. Becca really took the time to understand what we wanted, made lots of helpful design suggestions and was quick to answer and questions through the process. I also like that you can return and get refunded for any unused parts. Thank you.

Amazing customer service

This time I was dealing with David which helped me with design and technical details with my “ kitchen “ for shop.
In the end we purchase whole kitchen, decorating cladding plus LVF .
Got it delivered in the same week as ordered!

Becca at Kingston howdens was amazing, great design experience and great end result!

Just completed the installation of our kitchen and utility room using Howdens Kingston. Can't thank and rate our designer, Becca, enough. She is highly knowledgeable, polite and professional, provided sensible suggestions to some tricky aspects of our kitchen space & was consistently quick and patient in responding to our queries, managing our expectations well, for which we are really grateful. Overall, she really took away a lot of the complexity and stress for this aspect of our house renovation.
Nothing was too much trouble for Howdens and they resolved any ad hoc issues as the kitchen was being installed, with little fuss. Howdens were competitive on pricing and we would not hesitate to recommend them to others, especially Becca.

Fantastic service from all the staff at Howdens Kingston. The kitchen designer was so knowledgeable and gave us great ideas. We made a few amendments and the designer was happy to help with their expertise and went into great detail to make sure it was perfect. Nothing was to much trouble and there was no pushy sales techniques. The kitchen looks fantastic and is high quality for a great price. Would highly recommend Howdens Kingston.

Howdens Joinery in Kingston have been amazing . Becca recently helped design our kitchen, met with our builder and supported us throughout the experience. The quality of the units is exceptional. Becca is a real credit to the company . All round great experience.

You no longer make the floor cupboard corner post that I needed for a bodge to suit the plumber but some stock staircase spindles on display gave me ideas that got me out of a hole. Well done.

Terrible service. The kitchen did not even come close to fitting in the area that was designed by them. Numerous calls backs, numerous re designs that still didnt fit. builders waiting on site all of this time. We paid for an expensive kitchen with top service and ended up with something we didnt want and never would have ordered. even to this day the worktop which they installed it to tight and the fridge does not close.

Howdens-Kingston: A Disappointing Experience

I recently engaged Howdens-Kingston to design my kitchen. While their initial design consultation with Alex was satisfactory, the subsequent service was incredibly frustrating.

Delivery issues plagued the project. Several items were missing, and there was no follow-up communication after delivery. When our carpenter discovered the missing parts, we had to reach out to Howdens, who admitted their error.

To make matters worse, delivered items didn't match the design specifications. I had to return incorrect items to their office on multiple occasions. The color and size of some products were simply wrong.

The delivery team's behavior was unprofessional and rude. I had to visit Howdens' office 5-6 times due to these issues, which is unacceptable.

I strongly advise against using Howdens-Kingston for your kitchen project. Their poor service and lack of attention to detail have left me extremely dissatisfied.

I am giving it two stars even if the service has always been excellent. The reason is that, unfortunately, they gave me the name of a builder, Matthew MLC, in Kingston Upon Thames, who behaved very shamefully and unprofessionally. Because it is impossible to find this builder anywhere and Howdens cannot give me his details, I have to warn customers against this builder using their website after I have been authorised to do this. Citizen advise consumer and a solicitor I consulted says that he is in breach of the contract. We agreed on the work, and he made me order the material. He wasted my time scheduling dates and never turned up. He never apologised. I always contacted him politely and patiently from May to August 2024, but he behaved disrespectfully and unprofessionally. When I contacted him, telling him he was on the breach of the contract asking if he was a member of ADR, he blocked my number and disappeared. I contacted Howdens, and the manager told me they would delete his name from their list. I need to specify he is not someone who works for Howdens, but I need to post this review on their website as this moron is nowhere.
