'Misleading' advertising doesn't even come close..
I made a booking for an hotel in Cardiff via HotelsOne after seeing on their website that the hotel offers free self parking - free or not, I am disabled and unable to walk long distances especially when carrying luggage. With our visit drawing near, I contacted the hotel to find out how to access the free parking only for them to tell me that this facility does not exist - there is no parking whatsoever at the hotel. I immediately contacted (in their words, "reached out") HotelsOne seeking a refund. All I got was an email confirming that the hotel doesn't offer free parking.
If this is acceptable, why not change all the details? Why not advertise 'free meals' and then find out there aren't free meals? Or why not advertise anything else only for customers to find out whatever facilities HotelsOne advertise don't actually exist.
Surely customers should be able to take any advertising by this company on its face value rather than having to confirm everything with the hotel in question, only to find out that the HotelsOne advertising isn't accurate, honest or truthful.
Not good enough; this was the first booking I have ever made with HotelsOne. Suffice to say, it will be the last.
Easy as can be.
