Poor customer service and uncomfortable nights stay!
We stayed at The Gotham hotel on the date stated.The room was lovely,but v cold.We went for a walk round the Christmas market and came back to the room being colder as the night went on.We called reception who was then going to sort from down there,nothing!!So we called again and they were going to find us a heater.20 mins later it arrived.Helped a tiny amount but room had high ceilings and didn’t do much.We had a very disturbed sleep due to it being so cold.
We were meant to have a lazy morning as nothing to rush for but unfortunately that being said we were not informed when we arrived or before hand there was work going on right outside our windows and I’d imagine by now across the whole hotel.It was very noisy with workmen talking,drilling and working way before 9 o’clock.putting up scaffolding.So we got ready and decided to leave it was that loud.I was that disappointed with both incidents that I mentioned to reception who asked if we’d like complimentary breakfast,but we’d missed it by 3 mins.So was arranged for a refund of 20% of our stay.Our room cost just over £179 and was The Irlam.
I then filled out the feedback e mail which arrived the next day and heard back virtually instantly from them,that said to give time and they’d get back to me.Did they NO! I e mailed 3 wks later and have been ignored.
Would I stay again ABSOLUTELY NOT if this is how they treat their paying guests
A very disappointing stay to say the least.Delay in writing review as was hoping to get a reply from them but nothing!
