Booking a small room and getting room for a bed

Booking a small room and getting a very very small room with 20cm of clearende around the bed. Not allowing us to get around, as not both of us not fully able to be flexible enough as 18 yo people. Bed also terrible with springs to feel, hear and bending deep into.
Also No table, no chair and no locker to place clothes. Only a few hangers.
Nice bathroom, but that does not make it for the rest missing…
We tried to tell reception to get a bigger room as we could bot stay there but no will oyher than we had to PAY for a upgrade with only single beds…. So based on we did not have the space to get around, we had to cancel our booking the last two nights and book on Scandic…. Not much help from reception sadly to make our stay nice……
