stayed at B&B HOTEL Madrid Vallecas La Gavia and had a very bad experience.
The room was around 25°C, and when I went to reception to complain, I was told that the air conditioning is only turned on starting in May. This is completely unacceptable — especially for someone coming from a colder country like Ireland. For me, a comfortable temperature is between 8°C and 12°C, so it was impossible to rest. I was overheating the entire night.
On top of that, the window only opens about 10 cm, which makes proper ventilation impossible. The room feels stuffy and uncomfortable.
The location is also not good — very far from the city center with no real advantage to justify it.
Overall, very poor value for money. I do not recommend it to anyone. Avoid.
Unable no check-in, no staff on site, hotline not answering
Booked accommodation on February 28, 2028. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with accommodation.
I arrived around 3:00 PM and tried to check in using the self-check-in system, but my booking couldn't be found. I entered the booking number correctly several times – it was later confirmed as valid by Booking.com support – but the system simply wouldn't accept it.
There was no staff on site. When I called the hotel, I only got an automated message saying the reception was closed. No alternative contact options, no instructions, no help.
As a result, I had no access to the hotel, even though the booking was fully paid. In the end, I had to find and book new accommodation late that evening, which completely disrupted my plans for the day.
Booking.com support told me they were waiting for a response from the hotel (allegedly because it was a partner booking), which makes no sense from a customer's perspective. More than a month has now passed without any resolution.
I was left completely without accommodation and without money. It was extremely stressful trying to find a new hotel at short notice while I was already there and time was of the essence. This should never happen – it was frustrating, discouraging, and completely unprofessional.

Dog in hotel barking all night.
We are here for 5 nights. Although there has been noise at night, tonight has been an absolute nightmare. There is a circus across the road and there has been a dog barking and howling since 7pm. It is now 11pm and the hotel is unable to contact the dogs owner. This is unacceptable. Why are people allowed to bring a dog into a hotel and go out and leave it? The people in the room next to the dog have been moved to a different floor as they are so disturbed by it. This is obviously not a hotel to come to if you want to relax and sleep after a full day of sightseeing.

BNB in cremona. Very underwhelming experience. Firstly we didn’t get the room we booked. They talk a lot about the good breakfast on the website, but it’s the nastiest and most boring breakfast I’ve ever experienced in my life. Even just the room everyone is eating in is SO depressing. The bathroom in the rooms are also very small and inconvenient as the door opens into the room. Shower is also just weirdly built. Don’t really like the aesthetic. Very nice staff but when they clean the room they move all of your stuff which is very annoying. If I wanted to put all my stuff in the suitcase I would’ve done it. I don’t like people touching my stuff.
Excellent hotel
We stayed at B&B at Saint-Witz Roissy on nights of the 3rd Feb and 14th Feb the reception staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautifully clean and warm and the beds so comfortable . We did not have breakfast so cannot comment. We parked our car at Airpark Roissy and flew from Charles de Gaule, hotel was perfect destination for both. Highly recommend.

The Little corner B&B at the Av
Eng- The Little corner B&B at the Av. de Suècia, 27, El Pla del Real, 46010 València, Valencia. We stayed 3 nights and the staff were kind, the room had a tv, comfortable bed and the price was extremely low . The only problem was : when we asked about a lift- as there were 3 sets of stairs to climb-we were told " the lift was for staff only" my husband is 86 with sever arthritis and I have osteoporosis so we dreaded the climb up and down each time we left the establishment. The breakfast was excellent and it's in a good place.

El único problema fue: cuando preguntamos sobre un ascensor ya que había 3 tramos de escaleras, nos dijeron que "el ascensor era solo para el personal". Mi esposo tiene 86 años con artritis severa y yo tengo osteoporosis, así que temíamos la subida y bajada cada vez que salíamos del establecimiento. El desayuno fue excelente y está en un buen lugar.

My user experience at B&B Hotel Milano Cenisio Garibaldi
A terrible and infuriating hotel experience; a completely irresponsible chain hotel.
On September 28, 2025, my wedding day, I pre-booked and fully paid online for 13 rooms (€120 per room) at this hotel for guests after the wedding banquet.
However, when guests arrived at the hotel that evening to check in, the front desk informed us that only ID cards were accepted for check-in; any other legal identification (such as passports) would not be accepted.
Even worse, this mandatory requirement was never mentioned in the booking page, confirmation email, or check-in instructions.
Unable to resolve the issue on-site, we were forced to call the police and have the military police mediate.
With the military police present, the hotel explicitly agreed to refund the remaining room fees for the unoccupied rooms and reached an agreement with us. Ultimately, only 6 rooms were successfully checked in that night, leaving 7 unoccupied.
The next day, we went to the front desk to request a refund, only to be told that "refunds cannot be processed in the afternoon; you must come back in the morning." Due to travel restrictions, we were unable to stay any longer, so the front desk instructed us to submit a refund request via a designated email address.
Upon returning home that same day, I immediately sent a complete refund request email, only to receive a reply of **"Refund not agreed"**, without any explanation, completely contradicting the consensus reached during the presence of the military police.
Afterwards, I contacted the front desk multiple times by phone, but they were evasive, shirking responsibility, and refusing to refund.
Frustrated, I submitted a formal customer complaint through the hotel's website. Initially, customer service responded continuously and requested supporting documents, which I submitted as requested. They then told me to wait, citing "investigation needed," and explicitly stated that I would have to wait until January 2026.
However, shockingly, in early January 2026, my appeal channel was directly closed, all previous communications became inaccessible, and there was no written explanation.
I submitted another appeal, which was closed again in less than a day, still without any explanation.
Throughout the entire process, this hotel, claiming to be a "chain brand," did not demonstrate professionalism. Instead, it repeatedly made excuses, went back on its word, delayed the process, and ultimately shut down the complaint channel, attempting to evade responsibility by "playing dead."
This was the most important day of my life, severely disrupted by this hotel.
I cannot understand how a large chain hotel could refuse to refund a room after failing to inform guests of the check-in rules in advance, collecting the full room fee, and promising a refund in the presence of law enforcement.
I will continue to pursue my rights through consumer protection channels, and I hope other guests will be more cautious when choosing this hotel after seeing this review, especially for group bookings or important trips.
disappointing and unprofessional response to a lost item
I have stayed at these hotels many times whilst travelling to france to see my mother. On this occasion I was sadly travelling urgently as my mother was hospitalised. Due to the stress I was under, I unfortunately left my passport in the hotel room. (it seems this is not uncommon, before anyone judges me!)
The hotel sadly didn't think to call me to tell me I had left it and as I was rushing to get to my mother in hospital I did not realise the document was missing until later that evening. I called the hotel and they offered to post it if I arranged the courier.That next morning I rushed to the post office to pay £40 to send the parcels urgently to the hotel to post my passport. I had tracking details which told me the parcel arrived at the hotel that next morning. Sadly the hotel posted the documents but did not think to obtain a tracking number. This now means I have no way of knowing where my passport is. I understand it is not the hotels responsibility to deliver the item, but the cost of the courier and the importance of the item makes me wonder why they did not think to just take the tracking details when they would have been given them by the post office staff! If they had simply taken this number I would know where my passport is and wouldn't be quite so anxious and stressed. The hotel have not seemed remotely bothered when I called them, initially got me confused with a man called John who also left his passport, and now I have no evidence they actually posted my passport other than taking their word for it. It's really disappointing that the hotel have added to my stress when it could have been a simple process. I have emailed the hotel twice with no response. Sadly I am now stuck with no means to leave France and no method to track my passport.

Just got back from a fab stay at B&B Hotels! The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the convenient location and budget-friendly prices. Perfect for a quick getaway or business trip 👍.

I booked a hotel room at Rostock Hafen for one night. When I booked I remember reading: free cancellation until 3 days before arrival. That is exactly what was written in the confirmation e-mail. Plans have changed so I cancelled 12 days before but got charged anyways. Customer service only said that in their system the cancellation conditions are free cancellation until 14 days before arrival. To prove my self I sent them the confirmation e-mail I had received from the B&b chain. Their reply was: sorry, in our system it says something else.
How is that even possible nowadays?
I had to lose 200€ for their mistake!!!
Not a great experience
The room was adequate and despite a note saying our towels would not be changed everyday, they were and the beds made. But the beds were made over our pyjamas etc... was was the point?
We lost a white baby towel with a hood- it was not found and no compensation offered. It was kept in the cupboard which apparently we should have not done because it could mixed up with their white towels!! A staff member stole it.
The restaurant was okay for breakfast but not for anything else. The food - pizza and pasta - was inedible!

My experience with B&B hotel olhao started with negative check in… I paid full amount included taxes and fees online, but the reception insisted me to pay the tax again, same amount as what I paid online, before I can check in. I showed him my receipt with tax paid, he still didn’t let me check in and asked me to call online to get refund if I want….it’s not a huge amount and worth my time, but very much annoyed me. I ended up paying it again so that I can get into the room after a long day of travel with my parents who are seniors…..
The hotel looks nice from outside, like what you see online, modern and stylish, I thought I found a gem… not until I get into the room, everything looks and feels cheap quality. It is neat, but very obvious low quality materials for everything. The room is dark, cheap toilet paper, bedding etc. The photos online definitely made it look like high quality. And a lot people gave 5 stars in google reviews, so I booked it. But I won’t recommend booking it if you want a nice holiday. Not a nice area and not good quality. But if you want something budget with reasonable cleanliness or just a quick stopover, it is a clean 2 or 3 star hotel at best. But I would rather pay a little more to get a 4 star hotel…
Reservation error not refunded by B&B Venice Laguna
I have stayed in the B&B Venice Laguna from October, 10th to 11th. We had 2 reservations, one under the name Marcos Boeira and the other under the name Eliane Boeira for 2 rooms. When we got to the hotel to check in we discovered at the reception that the one that was under the name Eliane Boeira was booked incorrectly, for the incorrect date. Instead of October, it was booked for the same date in November. We ended up staying in one triple room, since the hotel was fully booked. For this reason I requested a refund through Booking.com, which was denied by the hotel.
This was an honest mistake, we are from Brazil and can't simply reschedule. We could not reschedule at the time because the hotel was fully booked, otherwise we would have been able to enjoy the reservation. We were there with our family, we stayed in 2 rooms in total (Norton Tacla reservation). We prioritized staying in the B&B hotels in all cities during our trip to Europe. We have been in B&B Girona and Figueres as well in Spain.
We are very disappointed with the B&B chain with the solution presented.
Extremely unprofessional receptionist ruined my stay
I stayed at B&B HOTEL Berlin-Airport Nord in September 2025, and unfortunately my experience was unacceptable due to the behavior of the receptionist, Thomas Reupke.
On 17.09, he left the reception unattended to eat while several guests were waiting in line. After more than 30 minutes of waiting, I had to check in via the self-service machine. Later, when I tried to resolve a room issue (my room was placed directly opposite the elevator despite my earlier request), I patiently waited another 20 minutes in line. Mr. Reupke then refused to help me until everyone else was served, making me wait an additional 15 minutes. Altogether I lost more than an hour just because the receptionist neglected his duties.
On 19.09, I had extended and paid for my stay until 21.09. Despite this, at around 14:00 someone tried to forcefully enter my room while I was resting, even though the “Do Not Disturb” sign was on the door. At the reception, Mr. Reupke gave contradictory explanations (“a mistake”, then “they wanted to clean”), although the person knocking was clearly not a cleaner. When I expressed that this was unacceptable, he dismissed me, saying “it’s not a big deal”. When I insisted on my right to complain, he rudely told me: “Don’t teach me how to do my job”, then turned his back, left the desk, and went to eat instead of resolving the issue.
I paid €160 per night and expected professionalism and respect. Instead, I was met with arrogance, rudeness, and complete disregard for guests. This is the worst hotel experience I’ve had in Berlin, and I strongly advise management to review the behavior of this employee.
Quality hotel- well situated- plenty of parking
New hotel in avermes , Moulins this is the best hotel we’ve stayed in and we have used this type of hotel in France for over 30 years. Staff were outstanding- my wife is disabled and the compassion and assistance they showed her was a credit to the business. Next door is Burger King and a hypermarket and retail outlet is 200 m away - well lit rooms- decent size tv and EVERYTHING worked
