Blatant theft
Blatant theft ! Do not use service ...those who do are lining the pockets of financial sharks , also the TV units are badly designed and not fit for purpose as the volume speakers are at the rear of the screens meaning patients who do use them need to turn volume up to hear sound when watching not realising how loud the volume is for other patients in same ward...and yes i know headsets are available but not all users use the headsets so.other patients suffer ! Even those who use headsets often fall asleep unaware that their headsets become unplugged as they move /turn over while asleep so they are oblivious to noise "polution" distressing other patients on ward.
Some group of faceless people are getting wealthy at the expense of hospital patients ill health
😡
Absolute Rip Off.
Absolute Rip Off.
Do not under any circumstances phone in to the bedside telephone number.
Just rang the number to confirm it worked as mother is in hospital, got a long pre recorded message that I was not interested in, finally it did connect, rang once and I hung up. Checked with my provider and found that I had been charged £1.80p !!!!.
This company must be making millions and needs to be investigated and shut down.
Patients phoning out is free - does'nt make sense - so get them to phone you.
Costs are an absolute disgrace, tv prices are not much better either, we are being held to ransom, obviously a company with no conscience, would give zero (or minus) stars if possible.
Disgusting company preying on the…
Disgusting company preying on the vulnerable charging £9.90 per day to watch tv or use Internet. That's going up for £300 per month. Unjustified prices.
Bad service
There service is useless I'm in the Norfolk & Norwich hospital just paid £9.90 for one day TV disgusting TV picture rubbish not HD and sound like being underwater for the same price I get months Netflix on 4 devices in 4k and HDR. These people are scam merchants preying on the vulnerable, government take these cowboys licence away.
Hospedia.... leeches capitalizing on patient illness!
Rang Hospedia to arrange a TV package for my mum who was a patient. Paid the fee and then tried to call her on the number the operator gave me, the phone didn't work, just either a recorded message or static. Rang the customer service number to report a problem and all the details were taken and the line checked. 5 hours later the problem wasn't resolved and I was informed that all the engineers had gone home. So my mother has a TV service that she doesn't know about because I can't contact her and a phone fault doesn't qualify for a refund. Hospedia seem to be making money out of sick/vulnerable patients with a highly dubious customer service approach. When will these leeches be kicked out of the NHS... along with the private companies that operate the car parks at a huge profit... I won't hold my breath!!
I'd pick no stars if it was an option.
I'd pick no stars if it was an option.
Complete ripoff of people in hospital.
Cost £50 for 6 days of TV which is mainly made up of Freeview channels!
What a farce.
Rather pay data charges on my phone than pay these con artists.
Hospedia shame
There has been many reports recently in the media about the 'ripoff' charges made by Hospedia for using patient TV and Phone equipment that they provide in hospitals around the country. Only when its you personally do see the truth. My daughter was in maternity and feeling very vulnerable and a short call from mum was reassuring. It cost £16 which is outrageous. If the money went to the NHS then fine good cause, but no lining the greedy pockets of Hospedia to the tune of £2.1m per year. Shame on you.
