- One of the most exciting parts of our work is sourcing the products. We now import products in from all around the world including countries like Thailand, USA, Italy, Brazil, India and Japan. And because we always try to deal direct with the manufacturers of our products we are usually in a good position to offer the best prices and also offer products that are exclusive to us.

- We take our ethical and environmental responsibilities seriously. We seek information and assurances from our suppliers that they treat their employees with respect and do not employ child labour. In fact many of our suppliers have an active involvement in their local communities, often contributing time or money.
- Environmental
- In our own processes we are always trying to become more environmentally aware. This is an ever evolving process and we are only a small way along it, but at present we use energy saving bulbs, recycle all of the cardboard and paper and plastic we generate and we print our stationary and promotional cards on recycled paper. Our jiffy bags are all recyclable (not the kind with plastic inside). There are other processes we have changed and there are also many on the list.

- Holisticshop.co.uk is an internet mail order business. That is to say we do not have a traditional type shop and we do not publish a paper catalogue - our website is our catalogue. Because ecommerce is all we do that is where our total focus goes. If you order from us before 3pm on a weekday (Monday – Friday) your package will be shipped that day. Our standard form of shipment to the UK is first class Royal Mail, but faster options are available.

I recently received a parcel from The Holistic Shop, I ordered 4 items, all of which I am pleased with. The service was prompt and I'm grateful to have this website available. I am impressed with "In The Cosmic Zone" by Madi Murphy. I recommend this book to astrology enthusiasts, it offers a deeper perspective on the houses in the natal chart. One of the best astrology books I have read, and I have read many as I'm over 60.

Very pretty tealight holders
I bought 2 of these very pretty tealight holders as housewarming gifts for 2 friends. I was worried they wouldn't look as nice as the photos but they are really lovely and the presentation (in a sort of mini hatbox) was very sweet, along with a leaflet explaining the different colour meanings for the chakras. I will definitely buy from Holisticshop again.

We're sorry to see your 1* review, and we are a little surprised by the concern raised.
I can see that you purchased our Strength in Balance Hematite Mystery Collection. We do not advertise this product (or most crystals of this type) as including a certificate of authenticity.
All of the crystals we sell are genuine unless clearly stated otherwise - for instance, some stones such as Goldstone are actually man made and certain types of crystal jewellery can be made from reconstituted stones (such as Turquoise). If this is ever the case, each product will be clearly labelled as such.
We source our crystals from trusted suppliers we have worked with for many years, for instance some of our crystals are sourced from a supplier with a high knowledge of minerals, gems and crystals, and have published a lot of scientific work on these topics. Each batch is visually checked by our experienced warehouse team when it arrives and again before dispatch.
I cannot see that you contacted us directly with any concerns about your order, but we would have been very happy to provide further information or discuss this with you.
