They are great for placing on mantelpieces, for display or anywhere you feel you need EMF protection. Please note, as these are a natural product, your cube may differ very slightly in pattern or colouring, but the quality is always constant. In its natural form, Shungite is usually divided into two types: Elite Shungite (Carbon Content 98%), and Black Shungite (Zazhoginsky, Carbon Content 30%). Elite Shungite is nearly impossible to use to make many items from, as it is incredibly fragile. Typically it is used to purify water, and sometimes pendants can be made from it. It tends to look like sparkling black crystals. All of our Shungite products are made with Black Shungite, of at least 30% Carbon Content (unless stated otherwise). Shungite can be found elsewhere mixed with resin, or gypsum to create various shapes, however in these instances the Shungite is no longer considered as ‘natural’ as it is not a solid stone.
