Their business is a kind of fraud

I recently had a frustrating experience with this company. The app automatically selected the parking zone for me, but it turns out both zones had surprisingly similar names—one was for street parking, and the other was for a garage located beneath the street.
What really caught me off guard were the slight differences in the zone codes (529001 vs. 525001), which I didn’t notice until it was too late. Unfortunately, this led to me getting fined twice for parking in the wrong zone.
This situation underscores a significant flaw in the app's design: the lack of a clear distinction between the two zones has caused significant confusion.
Overall, my experience with it was not what I expected, and I would advise users to be especially cautious when using the app in areas with similar zone names.

No Email, No Paper Trail: Administration Designed to Be Unreachable

Hojab appears to be designed to be as hard to contact as possible.

There is no usable email address for normal customers. Communication is routed through:

BankID-locked portals (impossible for many foreigners),

web forms with no audit trail,

or phone calls during narrow office hours.

When a payment issue occurs, this lack of written contact is not accidental — it conveniently prevents customers from creating a clear paper trail.

In my case, I paid correctly from abroad, yet the payment was not reconciled and the case was escalated. Trying to resolve this with Hojab was an exercise in frustration, precisely because direct written communication is effectively blocked.

Any company handling fines and personal data should provide:

a clear email contact,

written confirmation,

and accountability.

Hojab provides none of that.

Scam company!!!

Scam company!!!
Ipaid for parking correctly, in the correct location and for the full duration. The only issue was a single wrong digit in the license plate — something that is clearly visible in the payment record. Despite this, Aimo Park refused to cancel the fine and demanded 600 SEK anyway.
This has nothing to do with parking enforcement and everything to do with exploiting a technicality to extract money from customers who have already paid. No common sense, no flexibility, and absolutely no customer service.
Aimo Park shows zero interest in fairness or customer satisfaction. I will actively avoid their parking facilities in the future and strongly advise others to do the same.

CORPORATE BULLY. UNACCEPTABLE

I paid for parking using Easy Park. I got a fine from Aimo. I had to appeal through Hojab. I received an email saying I can continue to appeal the fine but when they make a decision, they WILL NOT NOTIFY ME so I can pay. They will instead send the fine directly to a debt collector and I will then need to pay for debt collection fees in addition to the original fine. OR I can pay the fine now and therefore give my consent that I agree with the fine. WHAT THE &%€&%#"!

Trick you into paying twice, then charge admin fee

They wrote me a ticket. I paid it.
Then they sent me a reminder, I couldn't immediately find my payment so I assumed I forgot to pay.
So I paid again. Then they charge me 100kr to pay me back my money.

I thought it was funny I got a reminder for a ticket I was pretty sure I paid, but given this scam administration cost I understand how they make their money.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. They give you a fine for a simple mistake which makes no difference for them either way. Won’t even take appeals even with all the proof. They should honestly get a real job and a life and stop sitting behind their screens and rip people off.

They fined me on a spot where 30 min free parking with skrivs after parking for 5 mins. I filed a complaint and they send me a mail that I should not pay until my case is decided. Then 10 days later I got a reminder with additional 60 sek for not paying. Worst company ever.

Possibly a Scamming company

I have received a parking ticket for allegedly not displaying a parking disc (P-skiva), despite having an electronic one that was functioning properly. Your complaint was rejected with the claim that the disc was turned off that day, which you dispute, as it’s automatic, and the battery was fine. You suspect the parking officer may not have checked it properly. Such an irresponsible company. Possibly the worst scam in the industry.

What kind of mindset you should have to…

What kind of mindset you should have to work in this company? I personally would never work in a place where 100% of the reviews are bottom negative.

For the review, nothing more to add. It is already written from all the other reviewers.

You should to something about this and fundamentaly change the way you are operating.

Hojab (Svea/Aimo) Parking Scam in Malmö

So this company has a very visible sign next to a 2 hour free parking lot for customers that has no p-skiva symbol or the text “p-skiva” on it, which means that legally the p-skiva is not necessary.

They say it is my fault for misunderstanding that p-skiva was obligatory and I paid a 600 sek fine after trying to dispute this claim. Then came an added 180 sek fee (which is nowhere mentioned or pre - warned for) I refused to pay that.

Then they add more to the fine and I get a thick envelope from Kronofogden. The amount is now 860. I still refuse to pay. Now I get a letter from Malmö Tingsrätt. The company has added another 600sek to the amount (and it does not include interests).

So this 2 hour “free parking” for a family meal on a Wednesday afternoon in July, after a trip to Ikea is now already costing my family 2060sek and then legal fees added will be what? 100.000sek? 200.000sek?

The most expensive 2hours free parking in the world, ladies and gentlemen and non binary folks. Brought to you by the social welfare state, Sweden. *slow clap*

Ps. I drove by this parking lot yesterday. They have taken down this sign now. Makes you wonder, doesn’t it?
How many people have fallen for their well thought out scam so far?

I wish I could add the pictures of their sign next to the parking lot.

This is a scam company. The app does not work as intended. The result was a 900 SEK fine. I'm sure they do this systematically. Swedish authorities need to launch an investigation on this company and its owners.

Hojab is an unethical company

HOJAB Parkeringsservice is an unethical and fraudulent company. I paid for a long-term parking ticket from January 2 to January 5, yet they still issued me a ticket on January 3. I appealed but got rejected. This is a clear scam. The CEO, Lennart Ågren, who also owns the debt collection company Svea Bank, should be ashamed of profiting from innocent people through such dishonest practices. I am gathering others who have been wronged to take legal action and file a class-action lawsuit against this company.
