SCAM SCAM , please avoid this company , they said my credit card is not accepted for €600 deposit in order to charge me insurance €400 for 7 days , very rude and aggressive. We had to go back to the airport (as their office is 15-20 away from the airport ) and rent a car straight away from a different supplier which cost us much less with full insurance included

I strongly advise against using this service. I hope this review helps others avoid a similar experience.

We booked an economy car through Carjet.com two weeks before our trip. The price seemed reasonable.

FIRST: The rental office is not located at the airport; it’s a 15-minute drive away. We had to wait 30 minutes in 38°C heat for their shuttle to pick us up. While inconvenient, this was manageable.

SECOND: Upon arrival at the rental office, the paperwork began. Although I had purchased full insurance through Carjet.com, the office insisted on placing a €900 hold on my credit card in case of an accident. They explained that any charges would be taken from this amount, and I would have to seek reimbursement from Carjet.com. This was frustrating but I accepted it.

THIRD: They informed me that the €900 hold would take five weeks to be refunded if no accidents occurred. After reading reviews, I discovered many customers had struggled to get their money back. During the paperwork, the staff received two phone calls from people inquiring about their refunds.

FOURTH: When I attempted to pay, the transaction was declined three times, despite using different cards, including a Turkish credit card. My banks confirmed that no charge attempts were made. Despite my request, the rental agent refused to contact his bank to resolve the issue. After multiple attempts, the rental agreement was canceled, and we were dropped back at the airport.

FIFTH: I have been trying to contact Carjet.com to get a refund on my deposit, but they have not responded. I am currently disputing the charge with my bank.

Overall, this was a terrible experience. After returning to the Antalya airport, we found that none of the ten rental companies there had any cars available. It makes me wonder if they intended to rent the car to someone else at a higher price.

My key takeaways: Avoid Carjet.com, avoid this rental company, and never book with a rental service that isn’t located at the airport.

Picked up car with zero fuel. Returned with quarter of a tank. Washed the car. Told it would take 6 weeks to return my deposit which shouldn't have been taken in the first place, it should have only been a hold. Weeks and weeks of trying to get my deposit back. Scammers! Avoid at all cost! If it's too good to be true(too cheap) it is- will take you to the middle of nowhere and then ask for deposit(which is quite huge considering that we already paid for full insurance) and claim that insurance is not valid-you need to buy theirs😅booked via discovercars.com

Avoid this ‘company’ all costs. They have stolen my deposit by doing their trick by saying their credit card machine doesn’t work, so I had to pay the deposit in cash. You get taken to little yard in the middle of knowhere to collect the car and literally have no choice. Documents you’re made to sign are all in Turkish. Very aggressive staff

Avoid you will have a poor car and deposit will not de returned … they charged my card for €500 after return of car …… car was poor condition these guys are thief’s !!!

Total thieves and crooks.

They forced me to take their insurance because they said my card (a barclaycard mastercard) would not work to take a bond. So I paid an additional 140 euros for their insurance which I did not want or need. Reading reviews now I see this is a tactic they use often. It is a scam.

They said tolls were included, then charged my card for tolls

They charged 70 euros to my card for a cleaning fee. This was never discussed at any point.

Be wary when using the services of these companies. They pick up customers from the airport and take them to their location, approximately 7 miles away. They then try to charge additional fees by claiming that the insurance is not complete and that additional payments are required.

In addition, problems may occur with your credit card, after which a high deposit is suddenly required. This behavior is not consistent with professional standards and may be perceived as misleading.

We recommend caution when booking services through these companies.

I was previously renting from different companies in the İzmir airport location I rented a car from allmeet car rental for the first time and everything was fine.

This company lies to, and steals from, its costumers. Having rented a car for a week in Antalya, I returned the vehicle in perfect condition and waited six weeks to get my €900 deposit back. It never came back. I called the company twice. They fobbed me off and then stopped answering calls. I also sent messages to them and they never replied. I have opened a case against them through my credit card company. I will probably also call the police in Antalya. Save yourself - and other travellers - a lot of stress by boycotting this company.

It was the best car experience I have ever rented. The prices are really reasonable and the quality of service they offer is amazing. The vehicles were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was extremely professional and helpful. The vehicle delivery and return process was also very fast and smooth. I definitely recommend it!

Excellent experience! It can be quite difficult to strike a balance between high quality and affordability when looking for car rental services. However, 'High Standard Low Price in Car Rental' strikes this balance perfectly. The vehicles were clean, well-maintained and safe. Also, the friendly and helpful staff was another plus. We were not met in person at the airport. Over the phone they said that a shuttle would come in 10 minutes. After 40 minutes and several calls later, we decided to take a taxi to our destination. Hitrentacar.com seems to offer relatively attractive rental-fees via sites like carjet.com, but may try to make money from selling additional insurance. If you don’t take insurance, they’re not really interested anymore.
