I was able to rent a car when almost everyone was sold out.
Counter staff was very helpful and aware of my arrival.
Rental check-in process and return was fast and efficient.
The rental SUV wasn't what I would have expected--a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. However, it was fun to drive despite horrendous gas mileage.
What made my travel experience good with Hertz wasn't a perfect experience because there was an initial issue of the location of the rental when I arrived. When I went to the normal pic up zone I was told to go to the private airfield lot to get the rental. When I arrived at the private airfield lot I was then told that I was in the wrong place. To the employees' credit, the lady said, "Let me take care of this for you!" Thankfully she did. Things, miscommunication and errors, happen but what was done to fix it carried weight with me. I appreciated the ownership and step taken to address things!
