Paid for item through PayPal thankfully.
Boots were required for a certain date (06 Dec) and ordered well in advance (28th Dec) but didn't arrive until 11th Dec. Throughout the whole time HH ignored all messages and phone calls were a waste of time.
Customer services and the CEO were completely disinterested and the tone of their communication came across as intimidating and implied putting the customer in financial difficulties just before Christmas unless they closed the PayPal dispute, offering only 2 options, both in favour of HH. And then they demanded the honest and factually correct review was removed on a technicality (they prefer to offer substandard and unacceptable levels of customer services whilst remaining anonymous)
However, there was an option 3,PayPal changed complaint to "service was significantly different than originally described" which found in my favour within hours (rather than the weeks claimed by Stain).
Definitely would not use again and would advise others the same. If you have an issue and have used PayPal, then contact PayPal immediately.
Let's see if they allow this truthful and factually correct review to remain!
Shockingly poor customer service
Shockingly poor customer service. Our return was sent back using their own returns label and was delivered to their warehouse nearly two weeks ago, yet we’re still chasing a refund.
Every time we contact them, we receive the same copy-and-paste response saying refunds are processed once the return is received — clearly without anyone actually checking. No one takes ownership, no escalation, no real help.
At this point, they are holding onto money for items they already have back. Completely unacceptable and a huge waste of time.
I won’t be ordering again and would strongly advise others to think twice unless they’re prepared to fight to get their money back.
POOR COSTUMER SERVICE!!
I made purchase during sales. I had to return a product for an exchange because it was wrong size. They process my return and send an email saying I'll be receiving tracking number/refund within 2-3 business days. Couple of hours later I received refund. I called them to let them know I didn't asked for a refund but exchange. They said they didn't have the size I requested. So, I requested a different size and they said the refund was already processed but you can go online and place another order. I said, "but I got it at a discounted price." They hang up!
Rubbish customer experience
Ordered a HH bag for my daughters birthday, 10 days ahead of the date, it was getting close to her birthday with no sign of delivery, sent 2 emails to HH explaining the urgency.....absolutely no response. Bag eventually arrived very late so not impressed and like most of these companies they make it very difficult to complain.

Winter jackets
I bought a Helly Hansen winter jacket 2 years ago at a local store in Cambridge, Ontario Canada and have had nothing but problems with the zipper. The jacket itself is good , other than the poor quality of the zippers. I lost my receipt for the jacket and was unable to return the jacket to the store I purchased it at, otherwise I would have. I do not think I would purchase another Helly Hansen winter jacket due to this issue with the zipper, especially for the price I paid. I am very disappointed with the quality of the jacket. Very hesitant on whether or not I would stick to buying Helly Hansen products due to this issue. I have been buying Helly Hansen products for years and did not have issues with previous products I have bought before. Not a happier customer, and very disappointed with the quality of this product.

Helly Hansen has an excellent warranty
Helly Hansen has an excellent warranty. My son's snow pants seemingly weren't waterproof, and they made it right but crediting our HH account so we could purchase a new pair. Their customer service is topnotch, and they are always helpful and expedient in providing a solution. In addition to their excellent product, their customer service always brings me back for my kids' winter gear!

After many seasons on the slopes the seam of my beloved HH ski jacket gave out. I reached out to customer service simply requesting a repair from but was told this issue was covered under warranty and I was given full retail credit on their website. Wow! Now that's excellent customer service. Big thanks to HH and let it snow!
it is not breathable
I bought a men's Crew Hooded Sailing Jacket 2.0 from my usual retailer. But I'm not completely satisfied with it. I'm used to walking a lot. By the end of my walk, I'm very sweaty. Yet it says it's breathable. True, I live in Southern Italy, not Norway.
Junk
At first, HH jacket was great but after few years and first wash it fell apart. Out of many same age jackets as HH I have, HH is the only one that deteriorated and of course HH came up with excuse NOT to honor warranty. Buyers beware.

Prior posting this negative review, I did contact HH customer service on 11/11/2025 and instead of honoring "lifetime warranty" I was offered 30% off a new jacket, lol.

Customer Service was amazing. My jacked got a tear and I reached out to CS. Within 24 hours I got a response and a credit store for the value of my product. 100% worth spending a bit more money and buying HH products when you get this level of support.

Really disappointed with HH quality
Really disappointed with HH quality. I expected much more durability from the active outdoor kids shoes.
Bought a pair in XXL.SE shop. After s couple of months my daughter said that her feet are wet even when she just walk on the wet grass. I checked the shoes and found out that they are now completely open and can’t really be used.
Changed shoes to waterproof Reima sneakers.

Ordered 3 items on their website Bad customer service
Ordered 3 items on their website with a friends and family code. The order was accepted and money taken for the purchase. Sent an email to ask if they could delay sending the product until I returned from holiday. Received an email 2 days later saying they could not delay the delivery but no explanation to say get in touch with DHL and arrange a later deliver. DHL allowed me to delay delivery from their tracking. Later in the day received another email from HH saying my order had been dispatched but some items 2 out of 3 were not available they were sold out.😖 How does that work in this day and age products are usually uploaded to companies web sites and when sold you cannot order. Never experienced this before from a big company. No service at all from this company just AI messages.

Don't buy HH if you want a good prduct
I was initially impressed with the fit and warmth of the Odin Stretch Hooded Insulator, but unfortunately, the quality did not hold up. Just over a year after purchase, the seam pulled apart with normal use. I reached out to Helly Hansen for a replacement, but they refused to honor it, citing the warranty period. For a premium brand, I expected better durability and customer support. Disappointed and won’t be buying from them again.
