Beware predatory practices!!!
I had a disappointing experience with Getsafe regarding my insurance.
When I signed up, the terms were not clearly explained. I was not properly informed that the contract with Roland Rechtsschutz would automatically renew. I also never received any reminder email or notification before the renewal date.
Now I am being told that I have to pay for an additional full year, even though the original contract was only intended for one year. This feels unfair and misleading.
Transparency is very important when it comes to financial products like insurance, and in this case, it was clearly lacking.
I hope Getsafe improves their communication and makes contract terms much clearer for customers in the future.

Transparency is very important to us: All notice periods and terms can be viewed at any time in your policy documents. As is standard in the insurance industry, coverage renews automatically unless a cancellation is submitted within the notice period. Please note that a daily cancellation option is not provided for legal protection insurance (unlike in some of our other plans).

Aleks made sure I understand the entirety of the contract, was happy to clarify all misconceptions I had about life insurances. He was also patient with my indefinite schedule, made all the necessary adjustments in our phone calls so that I can understand fully the insurance I was applying for.
