Found policy prices really reasonable until renewal
Found policy prices really reasonable until I came to renew. Received my annual renewal quote for £474. Same policy on line for new customers £310. I raised with customer service who advised the difference was due to the continuity of cover I.e. no cover for 10 days on new policies. This equates to £164 for 10 days cover! Customer support had little interest just bored matter of fact information sharing.
Left with no choice but to let old policy expire and take out a new one and run the risk of 10 days with no cover.
Personally I think this demonstrates a lack of value for existing customers.

Great insurance company
Great insurance company. Easy application with no hassles. Unfortunately i had to cancel the policy when I unexpectedly had to put my fur baby to sleep and they showed so much compassion offering their condolences which i didn't expect but deeply appreciated

I have paid my premiums religiously for over 18 years, by direct debit
Unfortunately my cat passed away 16/04/2026.
The vet bill at on his death was £942
I am astounded that the options I have been given are to pay the vet bill myself and cancel the insurance OR
Healthy pets will pay the vet bill and I continue to pay my monthly direct debit for December 2026 for a deceased cat!!!!!!
and I also have to pay a 20% premium of that said bill because of his age when he died
What choice is that?, paying insurance for 8 months for my cat !!!!!! that is no longer breathing.
A very callous attitude!
I’m traumatised by everything that happened this week without financially struggling also
The vet himself said that he has dealt with many pet insurance companies and has never heard of any of them carry out this obscene practice.
