I called HDIS after my grandmother received what looked like a past-due bill. She was frustrated and wanted to cancel her account, and honestly, I couldn’t blame her. I just wanted to pause things until we could figure out what happened.
When I spoke with Carrie, she calmly took the time to review everything. We ended up discovering there were actually three accounts in the system, which explained the billing confusion. She didn’t rush me off the phone or make it feel complicated. She walked through it step by step and helped reorganize the account so it finally made sense.
Caregiving can feel overwhelming at times, especially when paperwork or billing issues pop up unexpectedly. Having someone patient and kind on the other end of the line REALLY matters.
What stood out most to me was how Carrie handled the call — with professionalism, but also compassion. She even acknowledged the work I do as my grandmother’s caregiver, and that small moment of recognition meant a lot.
What started as a frustrating situation ended with clarity and relief. I’m grateful for the help and the understanding I received.
HDIS is a horrible company. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone not even my worst enemy. Do business with them at your own risk. They have poor customer service. They are very incompetent to say the least. They started working on my prescription about nine weeks ago and I still don’t have it yet. They are blaming each other for the mistake. Nobody cares

Not a good company they have no integrity and I do not recommend them. I have been submitting my info and my sisters info for supplies its been a year of repeated submissions ands no one ever contacts our doctors or us. I just give up. I am done trying. I am going to try another company. DO not bother with them and from the other reviews I see they do not care, even if you do get one order you have to deal with a lot of strife and complications.

HDIS admitted to a mistake in sending out an order. And eventhough, this resulted in me being short changed an entire month of supplies, they refuse to rectify the issue. This is not the first time I've had issues with HDIS, but will be the last.

Finally get things straightened out and confirm shipment this morning, only to receive a call that Medicaid needs a prior authorization and hdis missed doing that. I have spent far too much money out of pocket just this month alone. Nobody will reimburse me either. Hdis, you really need to step up your game!!!!!

Your commercials are demeaning and insulting. You use shame and embarrassment as a tool to sell your product. Why not advertise your product based on merit and convenience? I will stand in line proudly or order products from Amazon instead of use your product, solely because of your cheap advertising methods.

The customer service representatives that I have had the pleasure of talking to on the phone. Have treated me like a member of their family. Including Kerrie, Joy, and Lika.
I started using this company in 2002. Then reunited with them in March of last year. After stopping use for a while.
I use them for me. Being that I am someone who uses a wheelchair, and has other complex internal medical issues that are related to my back. That require the products from HDIS. That I get in my personal delivery plan.
Although one of them is just the Tena ProSkin Bodywash & Shampoo. Nothing related to the other stuff. It’s just a shampoo/bodywash that I grew to love. When I first started getting it. Because of my special scalp condition. Plus I love it on my skin too. It saves money from having to buy it at the store. When I get low.
I don’t ever run out. Because by the time I get down to my last bottle. My next shipment of them is coming. I get a case of five bottles I think. With every delivery.
Delivery is always on time. Unless during the wintertime. There is some weather delay in between Missouri, and the state that I live in. For my personal delivery plan order. To get to me. It takes three days usually. For my personal delivery plan to get to me. From HDIS.
If a product is damaged/wrecked in transit. The company makes it right for the customer. No questions asked.
Mail-in orders for me. Takes a week to get to them. Before it can be processed. But, sometimes. It’s a good thing. Unless I need it right away. Then I phone it in. Sometimes they do ship them out on the same day. Depending on what time of the day. That I call them.
I can say overall. Using HDIS as one of my preferred healthcare supply companies. Is a lot better than going into a grocery store/drug store. To get the items I need.

The system seems very antiquated as it takes an inordinate amount of time to file an application. I didn't get the feeling that Medicaid clients are given consideration for their individual needs. There should be succinct directions on what will be required instead of going through the process and then being told no for this, no for that. Frustrating experience, again.
ALWAYS TOP NOTCH SERVICE! My mother has been with HDIS for 2years and they have always treated her like a queen! Just got off the phone with Robin, then Diane, and then Jill...each one could not have been sweeter and so helpful in every way.. Such a joy to speak to them! Keep up the great work girls :)
Just got my sample pack so I really have not dealt with them yet and I never will. I certainly am not going to pay 2.95 every time I order just for the sake of ordering from them. That is absolutely ridiculous. Might be ok if there prices were cheaper but they are not. Everything I use I can find cheaper at Walmart, Target or HPFY by at least 30%. Unless you want to spend more money then you have to I would not deal with them

I have been using this company for a long time, however, the last year things have gone downhill. It seems like every month or every few months their product line changes and we are randomly sent a different brand of diapers. Every time this happens the quality of the diapers gets worse. I have tried both of the diapers they offer in my son's size and they are horrible. My son wakes up every morning soaked in urine. Every morning I have to clean him up before school because he is soaked. The underpads do nothing to protect the bedding and I have to wash his bedding daily. I'm ready to look for a new company that offers better brands of diapers, this is ridiculous.

Called!! #1 some customers wanted colored underwear to "feel feminine." #2 time. "yes we did a survery of 5K customers!" think agent meant 50 or 500.....but 5,000 fo rthe daytime? I repeatedly told EACH agent......retired Mrk Mgr.......changing high selling item to how eer ## ---I did not get a survery!!! Putting on paper underwear no matter what "dyed paste;lL' does NOT add "feminine" feelings.....we are wearing PAPER that we urinate in then throw away It is NOt soft like "normal cottton/silk"---nor a "match set w/bra" I was NOT surveyed. They are grossly incompetent in dealing with insurance, at least my own Medicaid coverage. They just can't ever seem to get anything right, from taking the right office phone number to garbled and unclear requests to doctor. Fail to provide detailed, accurate information to me as repeated requested so that I could try to avoid further miscommunication. I have spent literally perhaps 20 plus frustrating hours over several months on this latest renewal attempt and have gone without supplies for months. Worse, they have alienated my doctors office, eaten up a lot of my doctor's and nurse's time, who are now unresponsive. REPEAT problem I thought if I just saw it through once, surely the renewals would be easier. Not true. I will never willingly deal with them again.

I am beyond disappointed. This use to be a good company. Not sure what happened. Not sure where to start. They no longer carry the Attends Youth, best diaper hands down. Okay, that's not their fault. I've been trying to get my daughter's supplies for a month now. Finally......10 phone calls later. I had to ask to ship whatever they had. Three more phone calls. They send a partial order because they didn't have the underpads. I get the order today. The diapers are NOT what I requested. My daughter can't even fit the damn things. I don't understand and I am exhausted. Time to look for another company.
