Extremely Disappointed – Broken Promises & Poor Example for Kids
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this youth football league. When I was first encouraged to enroll my son, the president’s wife personally assured me that if they did not get enough kids to form a team, I would receive a full refund. This promise was the only reason I agreed to sign up. Unfortunately, when the time came and the team couldn’t be formed, she refused to honor her own word and instead pulled out the association’s refund policy — the same one she previously told me to ignore because they were short on players. After questioning this, I was blocked from the group chat, which is highly unprofessional and shows poor character.
This behavior is a poor representation of the values they claim to stand for, especially for a faith-based organization. Honesty, integrity, and keeping one’s word should come first, particularly when working with children and families.
To make matters worse, on Friday, August 2nd, Coach Quentin brought beer to a kids’ gathering and even offered one to a mom. This is completely inappropriate in a youth sports setting.
I cannot recommend this league to any parent looking for a safe, trustworthy, and values-driven environment for their child.
