Really frustrating! Photos require us old-timers to spend extra time figuring out which is a freaking lion or helicopter, then it still fails even when I'm absolutely sure I selected all of them. Stupid, really.

Pure garbage where it's often plain impossible to guess if that 0.1kb pic fits the description or not. Everyone involved in making and spreading it ought to be sterilised.

Stupid draw rectange around guitar or whatever. You can't even draw a rectange smoothly. The idiot who provided this idea should be fired from your company! Waste of time!

I am visually impaired and I've needed to udilise the accessibility cookie multiple times but it never works. The cookie just fails to configure on all browsers that I use. This is kind of sad that Hcaptcha claims to have an accessible solution but that solution never works. It is basically faster for me to ask a family member to come help me cbypass the visual captcha than go through the trouble of using the accessible captcha that Hcaptcha provides.
I am fortunate to live with people who can help me, but what about blind people who don't have anyone around them to help them at a given moment? And even for me this is not a fullproof method. Sometimes I want to use a website in the middle of the night and it'll ask me to fill in the captcha but my parents are sleeping. This is just shameful and I hope they get their act together soon.

Wow! 60 reviews and all 1star; no wonder tho. I was thinking if adding my review would make any difference while everyone else already destroyed this crappy service.
On one side, I was happy to see some alternative to crappier Google's captcha ; but the demerit of another one don't make the merit of this one.

Stuck in an infinite loop of the "One More Step" in which, you guessed, hCaptcha apparently ignores I am an human. Well, I think I know how do a lion looks like (the image test put in loop in which I give always correct answer, but with no avail).

This service will block your website from legitimate users. Avoid (if you need actual humans to view your website).

Discord unfortunatelly has it. Never working well. Team which is annotating pictures make mistakes probably. Never work for me. I tried 20 minutes and still not sign in. I know very well what Hydroplane is. 0/10 and I hope It goes bankrupt soon!

hcaptcha shouts about accessibility but it is impossible for blind users and they don't care. I now walk away from any site using hcaptcha, rather than facing ongoing frustration. I have spoken to support many many times, but they do nothing. It show s they do not understand accessibility, despite proclaiming their compliance. I sincerely hope ADA take them out of service as they are an ignorant disgrace and immense frustration

absolute dumpster fire

I'm trying to make an account on discord, i put all my information in, on the "make an account?" I got everything correct, or so it seems, i click "verify" and it shows my information again, loads for a second and makes me repeat the process again, and again. i've been stuck on this screen for hours trying to get it to work. This captcha is absolute garbage, and ReCatptcha is 100% better, also, it is super difficult to see some images, since it's blurred out, idk if it's on purpose or not. Sure Recaptcha is 2x easier to log in, but at least it works and doesn't take 4000 tries to get it to work. Whoever made this stupid captcha clearly doesn't know what they're doing, and every single review in here agrees.

WORST CAPTCHA SYSTEM EVER! MADE ME RAGE SO BAD!

I wish who ever made and thought of this garbage is punished for all eternity solving their creation lol! This is a useless delay and a waste of my time!

I am no longer able to access E-bay because of hCaptcha and will no longer be able to purchase from E-bay sellers. It runs me around in circles, keeps issuing new challenges, and eventually tells me my computer has made too many attempts. In any event, little kids like to solve picture games and adults like to get their business done.

Even worse, half the pictures look like they were fingerpainted by a toddler and cannot be made out.

If I cannot resolve this with E-bay so I can access my account, I will need to discontinue buying and selling there which is unfortunate because it's otherwise a good system. E-bay used very poor judgment in implementing this and I am effectively locked out of my account thanks to hCaptcha. Amazon is often more expensive but I cannot afford to waste my time on this.

UPDATE: hCaptcha appears to be more than just an anti-bot "security" feature, it looks like a scheme to monetize time wasted by users who have to deal with it--that is, to obtain unpaid services from web site visitors. From hCaptcha's own Web site as of Dec. 14 2021, "When you use hCaptcha, companies bid on the work your users do as they prove their humanity. You get the rewards." I do not perform unpaid work so others can profit from it. Neither should you. hCaptcha should be an automatic disqualifier for any site that uses it. If I run into it I will abandon my online shopping cart if I have one, tell the web site owner why, and write the web site a 1-star review on relevant rating sites.
