Please be assured that this is normal for Cuban cigars sold in the UK. Cuban cigars are subject to inspection, and the Cuban government seal is intentionally broken so that the cigars can be inspected and receive the required EMS quality seal of approval.
The broken seal does not mean that the package has been tampered with or that the cigars have been opened unnecessarily. This is part of the standard inspection and quality-control process for Cuban cigars entering the country by Hunters & Frankau.
We also cover this subject on our website in the EMS section, where we explain the inspection process and the reason why Cuban cigar boxes/packs arrive with the original seal broken.
We hope this clarifies why the package arrived with the seal cut.

I've used Havana House for a few years now for premium cigars and never, ever had an issue. The care that goes into packing the product and the speed of the delivery is excellent. Suburb establishment. Fantastic customer service. I can't remember the name of the gentleman but he was incredibly helpful. I have recently started my journey into smoking cigars and he recommended some fine smokes to me. He offered some very helpful guidance and made me feel very easy and welcome.
