I’m hoping to move house snd am clearing out things just sitting there. I had one ring to sell and approached 2 jewellers who were not interested. My last option was Hatton garden metals. Insurance and none gold items
An initial enquiry and a request for a postal envelope means ticking a box for level of insurance cover, once selected there is no further opportunity to change it, nor is the figure selected mentioned anywhere, not on correspondence or on the envelope.
When you have sent off your gold you are given a price, you then have to accept or request your gold to be returned, unless you have ticked a box to have none gold items returned to you (at your own expense) you can't change your mind, and accept the price and request none gold to be returned. Once you click accept, all doors are closed. website is unduly restrictive and inflexible.
