Best Recruitment Agency in Waterford

Had a great experience dealing with Hartley People, in particular Darren, from our very first contact up to the formal job offer I felt supported by all the team in Hartley People and knew they were instrumental in helping me secure the role. Would recommend this friendly and professional company to anyone seeking new opportunities. Great people to deal with.

Professional time wasters - avoid

Applied for a job advertised by Hartley People, and was invited to their Waterford office for an interview. Was shown into an empty office with a desk, filing cabinets and a phone and was told it was somebody else’s office, but they were away. At some point in the conversation, she said she would speak to her colleague about the position I had applied for, and dialled out, using the office phone. I noticed there was no lead or cable out of the phone, it was just sitting on the desk. Her colleague wasn’t answering she said, so she couldn’t provide any specifics on the job I was invited to interview for.
I have absolutely no idea what is going on in that building. I wasted several hours and 2 gallons of petrol to take part in a farce. These people are parasites, trying to take advantage of people when they are vulnerable. Avoid like the plague.

This company is the worst training…

This company is the worst training provider I have had the unfortunate miss fortune to have taken a course with. Should have known they where no good when they delayed the course starting for several weeks without any care in the world for the learners having to change there schedules (incidentally all the learner information we got was via email and it only contained the moved dates, had I known that this would happen several times; a different provider could have been booked). Hartley People don't record their lectures, so any issues; learners problem as is if you have an internet issue because you have no way of catching up. Any other issue crops up, they don't care; not my problem attitude. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing so much so I was trying to get details on exam vouchers and was told that I had until it expired to book the exam; in actual fact you have until then to complete the exam! Incidentally 30 days is all they give you to do it. Long story short I've asked for an extension of the expiry date on the voucher because of the miss information given to me but was told point blank "no, but there is a take2 if you fail". Disgusting, self righteous and ignorant approach to what could of been resolved with one phone call to People Cert who inform me that they would have given the extension but the training provider (Hartley People) have to request it because they issued it. Either way, as a learner I'm left with 48 hours to book and sit the Practitioner exam with little to no time too revise or prepare. I would not recommend them to anyone that values their sanity, has children, or family responsibilities because if something unforeseen happens Hartley People will throw you under the bus. They only care about money and their own business interest. Beware, there is other providers that are doing this by far better.
