CAVA course

I am taking part in the CAVA course and thoroughly enjoying it. A lot of information but the way Natasha delivers it is really encouraging. I feel so well supported by her and nothing is ever too much, she is always happy to answer any questions or doubts I have. I have almost finished unit 1, and really couldn’t have got there without her support. Would highly recommend the CAVA course, and especially Natasha as a tutor. Thank you

Hi Rachel, we are very surprised to read your review in relation to your data. As you are aware you emailed numerous staff members separately yesterday all within a matter of minutes of each other. Once the emails were received and escalated to the correct department the information was taken off the system immediately and a confirmation email was sent directly to yourself from the Chairman/Owner of the business confirming this. We are required to follow the correct process for GDPR and this was followed.

Harriet Ellis has been incredibly supportive throughout my studies. My dental educationalist, Tasnea, was equally outstanding, especially during the final stages of my apprenticeship. She provided both motivation and structure, ensuring that I stayed on track and completed all of my work on time. Her ability to push me while still making me feel supported was invaluable, and it played a key role in helping me successfully reach the end of my apprenticeship. consistently offering guidance, encouragement, and reassurance whenever it was needed. Her approach made a significant difference to my confidence and overall learning experience, as she was always approachable and willing to help me overcome any challenges I faced. Her support has been instrumental in my development and achievements.

Shortlisted, Laughed At, Ghosted

I applied for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant position at Harriet Ellis and was shortlisted to the final 10 candidates. This was a delight to hear, especially after I attended a full assessment centre, which involved extensive travel, preparation, and several hours of my time.

During the assessment centre, I demonstrated professionalism and engagement as requested. However, the next day in my final interview: I was rejected for lacking "resourcing experience". something that was never mentioned in the job description or during initial screening. When I questioned this, the recruiters were condescending and practically laughed in my face, insisting I needed 2+ years of admin experience before I could even be considered for a trainee role.

They then suggested I apply for an administrative position within the company instead. To add insult to injury, I was completely ghosted no response, no courtesy email, nothing.

This was a sly tactic to waste candidates' time while screening for experienced hires under the guise of a "trainee" position. If you're a job seeker, be aware that this agency lacks transparency and basic professional courtesy.

Firstly, we’d like to acknowledge the time and effort you invested in our recruitment process, particularly in attending the recruitment evening. We understand that this requires significant preparation and commitment, and we appreciate the energy you brought throughout.

We’re also sorry to hear that the outcome and subsequent communication left you feeling disappointed. While we do assess a range of factors during the hiring process, including transferable skills and potential.

As you were aware when attending the evening all job roles were detailed out and we were looking to see which candidates were ultimately the right fit for the role. For someone wanting to become a Recruitment Consultant having never worked in Recruitment before is extremely difficult and this is why the option of Recruitment Resourcer and administrator were discussed with yourself as they more aligned with your experience.

We’re particularly concerned to hear your comments regarding how the feedback was delivered. This is not the standard of professionalism we aim to uphold, and we will be addressing this internally.

Regarding communication after the interview, we apologise if you did not receive a follow-up response. This is not the experience we intend to provide, and we will review our processes to ensure all candidates receive timely updates.

We do genuinely appreciate your interest in joining us and your participation in the process, and we wish you every success in your future career.

During my dental nursing Apprentaship

I would like to share that my experience with Harriet Ellis has been a great journey, I found the company very supportive. I would especially like to point out Joanne Chamberlin and Marissa Idriss as they were amazing when it came to support which I couldn’t thank them enough. Stay clear

How this company is still going is beyond me. They scam you into signing up with them, give you all the attention in the world, and then the second they have your money it's like you don't exist.

As for placements well they are basically non existent. I signed up stupidly hopeful only for the horrible realisation to set in once I'd paid that there are hardly any placements and no support.

I asked for a refund within the first couple of months after using none of their services and was refused.

I actually left this review ages ago but having looked through after a friend reminded me of this awful company, it looks like my review was deleted, so I want to leave one again to make sure everyone is aware,

Whilst doing my apprenticeship through Harriet Ellis, Kirsty had been wonderful supporting me in any way necessary. She’s made the transition very comfortable and any issues I’ve had, I know I can go to Kirsty and all we be sorted !!!

Amazing apprenticeship provider

He really went above and beyond in ensuring that I secured an apprenticeship, his work ethic is really commendable. Harriet Ellis is second to none.

Before Harriet Ellis i had enquired with 6 different training providers in the UK. From my initial enquiry with Tayla Holleywell, I was made to feel looked after, supported and although I called to self fund I was informed on all the different avenues available to start my dental nursing journey. I expressed my difficulty with finding employment and they helped by sourcing employment options suitable for what I was looking for as I decided to opt for an apprenticeship. Dean Connor then reached out with multiple opportunities, not only selecting those he’d think I’d be a good fit for but also hand selecting those that fit my criteria, location, hours, entry requirements and were best suited to myself, he set up the interview and contacted the practice on my behalf. Merci Roberts installed the confidence I was lacking in myself, gave me interview pointers and gave me the push that I needed to secure employment I left that call feeling confident and empowered. I was supported from start to finish, and once I secured employment Shannyn Stiffell ensured in less than 24 hours of attending my interview that my apprenticeship details and place on the course were confirmed, even ensuring to call me and help with the documentation and assesments when struggling. I first spoke to Tayla 3 weeks ago, and in that time I managed to gain clarity on the path I wanted to take, secure employment and start my career. The support was second to none and I’d like to profusely thank the team for their teamwork, coordination and efficiency from start to finish. It’s very clear through their work why Harriet Ellis is the UK’s top pick.
