Thy should require original packaging

Thy should require original packaging. I had my return in the original, good condition package unsealed, but they put the whole thing into a thick green plastic bag.
This is an environmental disaster

UN happy

UN happy. Why is the verifying of the items returned happening at the UPS counter and not at the vendor? I brought my sealed package to UPS, showed the QR code and then was asked "one bikini bottom?". I had to reply, "no, two full bikinis". It was embarrassing for me. It isn't UPS business what I bought and especially not the business of the other customers in line. AND, if they are going to verify my return at the UPS counter, I should also get my refund at that point. I shouldn't have to have it re-verified when it arrives at the vendor and wait for my refund. Makes no sense. I won't use it again.

Do not use Happy Returns

Do not use Happy Returns. I am out almost $100 because of this store. I brought my items they scanned the barcode for the return. I have been dealing with this for months now and they assured me that it was going to be a problem. The employee said I should get an email that they received the item but sometimes takes time due to spotty service in the store. I waited a while and no email. I called the store and asked them to resend the confirmation and they said there is no options to do that. I called Happy Returns customer service and they said it is out of their hands and that they can override it and that they literally have no buttons that they can push. I called the manager of this store and she just said dispute it with my bank and I will get my money back and that didn't work either. It has been a waste of time and energy.

Response to comment: I have emailed and called three time. The 3rd time being yesterday. I received an email saying contact the retailer again. So your company is not resolving it fully nor at all and is not taking it seriously.

Returns take TOO LONG

There seems to be no way to track your return through their system or even contact them in any way. I have been waiting a month on my return to be listed in order for a gift certificate to be issued and after 3 calls to the company where i placed order and they are telling me that they havent't received anything return yet. so frustrating!

Unsatisfactory Service: Zero Stars

I attempted to use Happy Returns to return an item purchased from Lands End. LE rep said that she would send email with QR code. It didn't go through. Sent repeatedly to each of my two emails. Not received. I gave up and had LE send me a regular mailing label and I dropped it off.
Email arrived FIVE HOURS later.

completely horrible service

completely horrible service. i sent two orders for return and one order was processed while the other magically expired. i have a receipt I was given by royal mail when I sent both packages and will take this up with gymshark but I wish gymshark would use a different service for returns because there's absolutely nothing happy about happy returns!

Would give this no stars if I could

Would give this no stars if I could. First, you're paying a middleman for something the company (Land's End, in my case) should shoulder the cost of. Second, there's no tracking, no communication if the package was received, and, as it turns out, no actual refund (since February 2024) has ever shown up for my return. Will NEVER order from a company that uses Happy Returns.

BEWARE: no tracking Provided upon return/returns lost

BEWARE; pretty sure this company/service is a scam.

When you return your items via happy returns via the scanning of a received QR code instead of through a printed label, it seems so simple. But beware, even though they have your email address and probably phone, they don’t send you an electronic receipt. Think about Amazon returns at Whole Foods or Kohl’s: you immediately get either a paper or electronic receipt. The onus is on you, the consumer, to keep track of the date and location where you dropped off your items.

In my case the returned were never received by the original vendor, and I of course no longer have the items. Fortunately I’m a long time customer of the vendor and they vowed to refund my money.
I’m still checking on a couple of other happy returns transactions but I think they too are lost.
But until I understand from happy returns how to get a receipt, I’ll package and return my items myself.

So who has the items I returned? The store clerk who packaged my items and scanned the QR codes? They people at happy returns who processed the returns items? Who knows. As I said, it’s probably a scam.

Long long wait

I am in a hurry to return an item. I am happy for Ulta that they have a lot of customers; however, having to wait in a long line just to return an item is somewhat infuriating.

Zero customer service and a rip-off

Before I ever purchase online again, I will check to see if the company uses "Happy Returns" and if they do I will NOT order from them. I received a QR code from Happy Returns to return two items in one package, took it to the UPS store, they scanned the code, and then later I saw that I got credit for only one item. I called the online vendor and was told that only one item was scanned. Um, they scan the QR code not the item! So I was transferred to Happy Returns, and was told that the UPS store only gave credit for one item and they could do nothing about it. Why would the UPS store only give credit for one item?? The QR code was for two items. What a pain and a ripoff. Happy Returns told me that i had to contact the company that I purchased from. Of course I already did that and they transferred me to Happy Returns, saying that is who I need to talk with. THIS SERVICE IS A COMPLETE RIP-OFF. I will never order from a company that uses Happy Returns again EVER.

Horrible customer support

Horrible customer support. We have been trying to get help for over a week and a half for a customer return label not generating correctly. Instead of looking into it and seeing what the problem was, they told us we needed to setup our shipping carrier (we had set it up years prior) and asked us three times if FedEx serviced Canada (where the return would originate), blaming the issue on FedEx. Even though we showed them examples of where Canadian labels were generated without issue, they doubled down and asked if FedEx serviced Canada. The return was for Toronto, so of course FedEx services Toronto. I don't think they even bothered looking at the customer return. Finally today they said they would ask their engineering team if there was an issue on the backend. Seems like they dismissed our issue from the start and never actually tried helping us.

Happy Returns didn't make me happy.

Happy Returns. Trying to take a page out of Amazon's return policy with UPS outlets.
Went to the closest HR location only to find it was in an Office Depot. They could not scan the code and couldn't do anything to help. Very frustrating.
Especially as the HR website lists a lot of sites that are not FedEx sites.
Drove 15 minutes to the nearest FedEx store, and they were helpful. They told me there were only 3 sites in Fort Wayne, Indiana that could scan HR scans.
Wasted over 30 minutes, drove way out of my way. Will not use this again.

Good idea, poor in practice

Like the concept, but ultimately didn't enjoy the return experience–felt too disconnected. Like if you bought a a pair of jeans at Levi's but returned them to Calvin Klein. Just weird. Plus the associates aren't super knowledgable in the retail brands they claim to support.

Great software, poorest tech support!

Great software, however the poorest technical support I have ever received from an international company. They are owned by Paypal. One would expect a brilliant customer support. However my company`s DHL labels are not getting printed for more than a month now and nobody is able to give me an answer as to why this is happening or how to resolve the situation. I have the DHL UK IT team also involved in all our communications but still no results. ..
