Terrible customer support . rude ignorant people that really cant help you. Ordered for my granddaughter for her birthday which I missed because they have really bad processing , they didn't ship even after they charged
card .......ended up using Paypal . i just wish she didn't want this brand as I would have walked away. if it breaks I doubt they will support the product. i wouldn't recommend buying from this company.

Halo Board is not a company you want to deal with!!

I purchased two Halo Rover X back in May 2020. They were end of the school year gifts for our kids, after pushing thru COVID quarantines. I was very excited when received the boards as they seemed very solid. Kids loved them. They were parked in our garage every night while they charged.

Fast forward a few short months later and my son's main body cracks. They said it was covered by warranty and we sent it back to them. A week later they wrote me and said there is $220 in damaged circuit boards from water damage. My son would jump on the halo board when he would get out of the pool - it was never subjected to submersion or sitting outside. The circuit board damage was due to their cracked body allowing water in but they would not help in any way except covering the cracked body under warranty, and charging me $220 for the circuit boards. There would not be water damage had their body not cracked and broke.

Another few weeks later the same thing happened to my daughters - a cracked body. Sent it back. And this time they would not cover the body and charged us $140 to replace it. When I received it back and was placing the wings back on per instructions the body cracked AGAIN. This shows you how CHEAP the plastic is on these bodies. Had to send it back to them and this time they covered that replacement.

So $220 for two circuit boards on my sons. $140 for for a body on my daughters and having to go back twice. These are $500 retail hover board. They are clearly charging highly inflated prices for repairs. I would hate to see the price of replacement motors or wheels. Just highway robbery.

I never write negative reviews but this company without a doubt deserves one. Please don't buy...go elsewhere. Move on.....Halo Board is not someone that will be in your corner when you need them.
