Disappointing experience
What should have been a joyous experience turned into a nightmare. We purchased an apartment in The Atelier complex, Johnston St Collingwood, which is residential living combined with a hotel.
When we were sold the property we were misinformed on so many levels and since connecting with other residents, it turns out they were misinformed also. Coincidence, I think not.
We were advised the hotel would be paying the majority of the body corporate fees which was a major factor in our decision to purchase. This is not the case.
The communication with Gurner once they had a signed contract was really poor.
We would certainly not buy from them again.
This was an off the plan purchase.
