Took my guitar to be fixed, needed new machine heads. Found Dan to be very helpful and knowledgeable, he went over and above to help and all a a price which was so much better than I was expecting
This is an excellent guitar and amp shop. I chose Pete Oakley Music to purchase an expensive Gretsch due to the very positive attitude demonstrated by the staff. The staff are polite and respectful, highly knowledgeable, and very enthusiastic about music and instruments. They are all active musicians, including the owner, Mr Pete Oakley, whose experience and expertise with guitars and set-up is second to none. The range of instruments is superb across very broad price points. Testing and purchase was a delightful experience. I recommend this establishment without reservation no matter what your budget or experience.
Went to collect a Rickenbacker for my son. Made very welcome and felt at ease and like a long-time customer even on this first visit. 3 in the team while I was there and all friendly and very knowledgeable. Pete the owner made coffee for everyone in the store while I was there. Not sure that was a good idea as it gave me too much time to look around the hige stock of varied guitars which covering everything from acoustics for beginners to very top end custom instruments by PRS. Wouldn't hesitate to anyone.
