Do not buy the warranty at guitar Center
I bought the warranty for my Mesa boogie amp that I bought off the floor at guitar Center. Has an issue with the tubes which is fully covered under the warranty. I submitted the warranty claim the website does not work for crap so I had to call them and then they sent me a UPS tracking slip to mail the item back. They also sent me a letter that said that UPS would charge Asurion for the cost of the packing materials and I would have to pay nothing so as you can imagine, I go to the UPS store and they tell me that that’s not the case. I showed them the letter and they say there’s nothing they can do so I call asurion and back and they give me a completely different story than what it says in the letter that they sent me on my email. It’s a joke I would not buy the warranty and I would buy my gear from any other place you can except guitar center. They suck, the only reason I went there is because I needed it that weekend and of course it turns into a big failure

Company lied about order being…
Company lied about order being in-stock. I saw a paid add about the AKAI MPC being in stock. I ordered it and heard nothing for a week. Was told credit card was charged on 4/8. Then got an email saying its on back order. 20 days later I get an email saying there was a problem with my payment. Its clear, this is an attempt to justify delaying something they didn't have in stock.
I have lost trust in Guitar Center, not sure if I will ever purchase from them again. Would prefer to buy from an honest company that just says its out of stock and we believe you would get it between two realistic dates.

The store manger Alex is the best.
The store manger Alex and the lesson coordinator Jay were both so nice to me. I ended up signing up for lesson when I initally was on the fence about it. Both of them made my week and I look forward to seeing them again and to my lessons at this GC. Amazing coustomer service and hospitality. This location wasn't always like this.
