I worked as a recepcionist for nine months at the Cinco Plazas in puerto del carmen, Lanzarote. The experience was nice and learned a lot however the bad thing is they don't offer you stability. They have plenty of staff that don't show up for work fir years yet they keep them st the hotel and the new ones only have temporary of substitution contracts which doesnt give you a chance to grow at the company. Overall is a low standard hotel, everything related to it is outdated and not good quality- even the customers. So coming to these kind of hoteles don't expect high quality because you wont find it.

We had a lovely holiday last year with Grupotel last year. We've booked a second one this year - and we had a question about our booking. I rang the contact number but got no answer. 10 minutes later I had a phone call back from them after my missed call. Great service!! They sorted our question and we were able to save a little money on the booking as well. People often complain when things aren't right, but I wanted to compliment them on their great service.

Small tiny beds. View to the backuard.
Small rooms, just enough for one bed.
On the wepsite it looked bigger with nice rooms.
I mean this hotel claims to be 4 star**** hotel!!!!!

My daughter and I stayed at the Acopulco Hotel in Playa De Palma, a few weeks ago. We encountered a terrible experience, and the really irratating thing is even though we have e mailed several times to both the hotel and the actual hotel group, no one has had the decency to reply. Briefly our door was open on arrival and did not lock, toe stubbed on broken decking around the pool, in the spa, steps into Jacuzzi very loose, sauna and steam room out of use, poor quality of food, orange squash at breakfast! Peaches in syrup at dessert! Plates not cleared at breakfast. My daughter has life threatening allergies, she carries an EPI pen, and after a long time a chef walked round the buffet, but her response on would it be safe to eat was "Maybe". Just not good enough. On our departure day, check out is noon. When I went up at 1130, our keycard was blocked! Had to find a housekeeper who kindly let me in and told me this happens all the time. Even worse at 1145, some one entered the room whilst I was undressing. The response from reception was totally unacceptable, they kept saying okay and laughing, and also have no management on at weekends. They only work Mon to Friday !! Says it all really. Dreadful staff and overall experience, except for the lovely housekeeper.

My stay with this chain of hotels was sooooo lovely!
I stayed from 4th-10th July 2025.
Most of the staff right up to the Manager were all accommodating and polite. On my last day, my Earthday, Boli(staff) and Alex(the Chef), gave me a small cake to celebrate which was a lovely touch. I have to give a big shout out to Boli, Joanna and Alex the Chef, they really took care of me during my stay! The requests that I had were always taken care of "Thank you!" I would have given 5 stars however, I did have an encounter with one senior staff, a man, at reception who lacked customer service as I was going to breakfast one day and due to some renovations at the hotel there was some noise due to works taking place when I was having a day time nap. I shall be more than happy to book this hotel again because their facilities are great and it is a 5 minute walk to the beach. If you're looking for some quiet romantic time, during the low season, come here! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

Stayed at Grupotel Natural and Spa. Lovely hotel with direct access to the beach and right opposite the S’Albufera nature reserve.
Very clean excellent food and lovely staff.

We stayed 1 week at Grupotel Gran Vista Mallorca. It was immaculate, set a short walk from the long safe beach, in beautiful gardens with sunny/shady areas, several pools (both outdoor & indoor) for adults and children. We loved the far-reaching views of forests, mountains & the sea from the rooftop cocktail bar. Breakfasts were fresh made, lots of choices, sweet & savoury & catering for different nationalities as well as local cuisine.

Great hotel chain. Always great food and service. Not much else to say!
