Me and my daughter we went here for a very first time today. Absolutely thrilled with the service. Especially Gary who did my hair cut,he’s exceptionally talented. He was very calm, patient through out and he had exceeded my expectations . A big thanks to Kiki she was also amazing at my daughter’s hair. We both left with a big fat smile on our face. Thank you Gary and Kiki you’re stars. X

When I moved to Eastbourne I wasn't confident about finding someone to cut my hair the way I like it but Emma cuts it perfectly. My hair (cut and colour) always gets compliments by friends and colleagues! Grove Experience is also a great find for me because the salon uses top quality and animal cruelty free products which is unique and very important to me. I absolutely love the candlelit hair washing area and massage chairs. Each visit is such a pleasure.

No honestly, I had been looking for a new hairdresser for years, feeling overwhelmed with annoyance every time I came out of a salon. The cuts were either skin head (not suited to my age or face) or the hair stuck up – but - just in odd places and worse it just wouldn’t lay down. It didn’t matter whether I was paying £5 in Goa or £70 in Brighton the cuts were all “Ghastly!!” Then there was my wet back, it didn’t matter how many times I asked them to blow dry my sweater before I left the salon because water had poured down my neck during the wash session, they just didn’t get it.

What a relief to find the Grove Experience and Gary, comfortable flat beds in the lather room and a dry back. A comfortable chair to sit in whilst it was being cut. A hairdresser who knew what to do to save the day (oh it was bad) and send me out feeling that it looked fab. (It did) Suggestions on what tools and products to buy, a demonstration on how to keep it looking good myself. And it worked - so I’ll be seeing you again soon Gary.

Visited The Grove Experience today for the first time, what an experience, like no other salon I have been to before, I was made very welcome as soon as I walked in the door. Taylor was lovely, made me feel very special and gave me a great haircut, can't wait til my next appointment. Thank you Taylor.

I really needed a haircut so I rang at 4 pm and managed to get an appointment for 5 pm the same day. I had my haircut by Taylor. The salon is very welcoming on arrival, Taylor talked to me about what I wanted doing with my hair. The chairs where you get your hair washed are fabulous, very comfortable with a relaxing massage.
I had a lovely cut and blow dry with a lemon and ginger tea which came with biscuits and a mini pack of love hearts.
All for £31.00. Taylor is a good hairdresser and made me feel at ease.
I was given a loyalty pack which will save me money in the future on more appointments and a lovely pink pen.
Definitely going back again.

I had my hair cut into a completely different style by Caitlin a trainee. She did a fabulous job! It was a very enjoyable experience and her trainer was great too. I would definitely recommend this salon its so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for looking after me so well.

My second visit today. Up till now a perfectly competent person has come to my home to cut my hair but oh things had got rather stale. I chose Grove cos it's so near me and I'm very glad I did. Friendly intelligent staff who do all they can for you from the moment you walk in until you leave. Your hair is not just washed.... you get to recline in an amazing MASSAGE chair while it's done and a head massage is part of it. My stylist is a lovely lady who does what all older ladies want - makes the most of what I have growing on my head! Everyone there clearly works as a team and the atmosphere is relaxed, happy and professional. I'm so impressed. Thank you �

I enjoyed every part of my time at The Grove Experience! The staff there are friendly and accommodating and have given me a fab hair cut and colour. Highly recommended!

After 7 years of being a (very dyed) red head, I spent months of endless attempts and strand tests to try and go violet. My hair was in an awful state and very resistant to colour. I had previously been promised the earth by several hairdressers, before the strand test results arrived, only to be told "You should stay red". I went to The Grove Experience after a couple of recommendations from friends. I was not disappointed.

Kiki worked on my strand tests to achieve the colour I had been after for so long. I had to have my hair bleached initially, in order for a semi permanent colour to go over the top. Again, something that other hairdressers stated would not be possible in the same day. I was very apprehensive about this, as I was concerned that the overall colour might be patchy or 'orange' in parts as I have dark brown roots and very dry copper ends. Kiki put me at ease about this and spent her time on my hair to achieve a very natural 'bleached' colour foils with a burgundy surround, before placing the violet over the top. She was very helpful with how to achieve the result I wanted. My hair is now in much better condition than before and after 5 hours of colouring, I was not charged anymore than a normal 'full head' of colour.

Remy blow-dried my hair and did a fantastic job of making it curly and shiny, before explaining the products she had used. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is lovely - not to mention those massage chairs and head massages! They even nipped out to get me lunch. Fab place with lovely people. Thank you for making me love my hair again! Next appointment already booked.

I often recommend The Grove Experience to others for the way Erin cuts my 12 year old daughter's hair - she is lovely, giving Anna a really special pixie cut each time, and chatting away to her about school and friends and life. This time, it was me receiving the star treatment. First, Gary patiently took me through the options for dealing with my greying and over-dyed hair, and then - once I was fully informed and reassured - he made sure I left the salon with a new spring in my step and beautiful natural looking colour At every step, the whole team was warm and kind and attentive - thank you all!

I had used The Grove Experience for a long time and was ALWAYS pleased with my hair, done by Erin and found everyone very friendly and the experience very relaxing and enjoyable.
But after moving home and for the convenience I decided to try 2 local hairdressers. I was very upset as the colour and cut did not look right on both occasions so much so that I tried to trim the front myself.
I rang the grove experience and explained what had happened they kindly quickly fitted me in for a colour with Sally and a cut with Erin AMAZING it feels great again and my husband agreed colour and cut look much better and natural !
