I opened up an account and was hopeful to invest some money. After I saw lots of reviews and chatter on Reddit how it was a scam. Since it was early days I decided I should just close my account and withdraw my money. It wasn’t much under $100 but they made it extremely difficult to get my money back. Unanswered emails, emails from a destiny giving false hope that it would be taken care over. I finally opened up a complaint on the BBB website and then suddenly they were willing to help me. Very stressful and unhelpful experience. Seems to be a trend that withdrawing money from them is difficult.
Just an awful experience! I paid a fee at the beginning and invested approximately $100. Never made a dime! It was incredibly difficult to get the money out! Don’t waste your money. It’s basically a scam!

I can also confirm that your first withdrawal was completed on April 1, and your second withdrawal is currently processing. Additionally, your subscription fee was refunded promptly after you requested it.

I tried signing up for Grifin last year. At some point during the sign up you have to put in your payment info. AFTER you put your payment info in there is an assessment or survey. I took the survey and based on my answers the response that came back was that the app was not a good fit for me....fine no problem, except that I already put my card info in. There was no way for me to get to any screen to remove my info since they deemed me not fit. I sent an email to support and got a generic response back that someone would contact me about my concern. No one reached out, if they did it was not clear that they were from Grifin. Fast forward to now, I am receiving emails that my monthly payment was unable to be processed. That would imply that even though I was advised that I was not a good fit for the app, that my card was being charged the entire time. I sent another email to support stating all of this and requesting that for my profile to be closed out and a full refund of my funds since last year. I suspect I will receive a generic email again with no resolve! I have never had this issue with any other investment app. I wish I looked up reviews before I tried to sign up.

We would have loved to help resolve this earlier, but it seems we didn’t receive a reply to my email sent on May 11, 2025.

I have been trying for about a month to withdraw my money. I sold the shares just fine. No problem there. However, I have been trying to withdraw it and can't. Dozens of emails that go unanswered. No phone number to call. I have made complaints with FINRA and the SEC and made an appointment to speak with my attorney to resolve this. Just give me my money and this goes away!

I’ve been trying for at least a month to withdraw my money and cannot. Bots are the only help you can get with standard replies and instructions that do not work. Guess my money is gone and I will never see it again. Scam operation. I’ll get help from an outside source such as a lawyer if needed. They take your money quickly, withdrawing is impossible.

I absolutely love this app!! I’m saving money and able to invest in my favorite places I shop!! I bought at hat on Tesla website and now I own its stock!! Just the coolest. And I did a test run, and after one week I sold my stocks and was able to receive all my funds that I had spent!! So it’s legit!! Love it!!
I haven’t been able to log in for months. There is a malfunction on app, will not let me reset my password. I have emailed but didn’t receive a response.

It's an easy, fun way to save! I never knew how many companies I shopped at, and now, I get a piece of ownership at each of them. The set up was easy - create an account, connect my credit cards, and go about my day. Every week, Grifin invests for me without me having to do any additional steps. I wish I would have started this sooner, but glad I have it now!
I would stay away from this app until they fix the issues. I use to love Grifin but recently customer service is non existent. I referred around 5 friends in the month of October, paid my subscription and never received my referral bonus. My referrals never received their bonuses either. They subscribed and deposited too! I contacted customer service and they responded that they would look into it. After a few emails back and forth , my last email, I never received a response back. I just want my referral bonus I was promised! Ill be going to the bbb next to hopefully resolve this.

These people purport to buy a dollar's worth of stock of any company that you shop at. However, in collection of the financial information from you that they verify thru Plaid, which IS a reputable company I've known for years, they just continually keep going thru the verification process over and over even though Plaid confirms your submissions as correct the FIRST TIME!
WHY?
That is very suspicious behavior and tends to infer either inability to access the records Plaid generates, or that the excess files are being generated for some illegitimate purpose like data miners, etc.
In any case, they don't offer a customer service phone and apparently take their time in answering emails. I'm getting out before I lose any MORE money. I've done fine buying $1 stock from Robinhood for years.

One of the worst investment apps on the marketplace. Charge you $60 minimum a year so if your the average Joe you won't make anything in profits because grifin is taking it all. Oh and they won't refund you if you link your bank account or submit a brokerage application which is literally one of the first things the app has you do upon sign up. Deceptive company, thieves!
