Drivers ignoring laws

Their truck drivers (over 7 tons) have illegal rest breaks on residential streets where they shouldn't park, leaving engine on at 5am and wake up locals every day at unsociable hours. They have nothing to do in front of my home! Management ignoring emails. Council getting involved. 3 months of this nonsense

Toxic environment, poor management, and zero professionalism

GreenCore Warehouse (Tamworth)
This company is one of the most toxic and disorganized workplaces I’ve experienced. Management is weak, unprofessional, and driven by favoritism. Team leaders lack knowledge, communication skills, and leadership — often unable to answer basic questions or guide staff properly.
No matter the shift — Morning or Afternoon — Team leaders are completely ineffective. They spend most of their time in the office,Gossips or walking while using mobile through work areas where FLT drivers operate, using their phones and ignoring safety, even when they know they should walk to the side. Instead of supporting the team, they cover for themselves and avoid responsibility.
Team leaders focus on gossip, lies, fake complaints, and office politics rather than honesty, fairness, or teamwork. Hardworking employees are ignored or pushed out, while favorites are protected regardless of performance. Whether it’s picking, counting, moving pallets, or loading and unloading, some employees actually do the real work while others avoid responsibility, gossip, sit in the office because they are team leaders favorite people . There is no accountability, recognition, or fairness for genuine effort.
Overall, the environment is mentally draining, discriminatory, and disrespectful. Management ignores real issues and allows unqualified people to remain in leadership roles. This is not a place for anyone who values professionalism, fairness, or a healthy workplace.

Don't waste your time with these people

Went for a job interview that I thought went well. Got an email saying mangers were reviewing notes and I would be notified first thing the following Monday. Never received any correspondence back, particularly from Natalie Kohul who was dealing with it supposedly. People go out of their way to make an impression to get a job and get treated as if they don't even exist. Fortunately I found employment elsewhere.

Worst Management

Worst Management.

The problems start at the top and it truly is rotten to the core. The management is a joke, nobody there has legit management skills, the way the staff get spoken to is a disgrace and the expectation against reality is absurd. I can honestly say that it is the worst place I have ever worked, pretty much everyone who works there is miserable and/or depressed due to the sorry state it finds itself in. I would be extremely surprised if the company doesn't lose all customers within the next 5 years, the quality of work and the quality of staff will be the downfall of that place, until they are willing to invest in decent staff instead of students and halfwit then, nothing will change. Avoid this company at all costs.

Just don’t work for them!

My husband worked for your company for 6 months.
At the beginning he informed Greencore of his congenital heart disease and the cardiologists instruction to avoid heavy work.
He is due a second operation at anytime.
Can I state that again?! CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE AWAITING SURGERY!

Let me tell you not once was this EVER taken on board. You are bound by law to accommodate those with physical ailments!

He worked so damn hard, he was forced to push himself beyond his limitations even when he raised his concerns about his health.
Being the man he is, he continued to give his best.
He picked up other peoples shifts, he was given the HEAVIEST routes possible and forced to comply even when he spoke up about how this was too much.

I want to mention that during this time a fellow colleague had a HEART ATTACK ON THE JOB from being pushed and pushed and pushed!

This raised our concerns further and under the advice of his doctor he was told to reduce stress where possible to stop adverse effects on his heart condition.
He was never meant to work with such big and heavy loads- he should have been given a normal route AS WE HAD ASKED in the beginning!

Management were disgusting!!
PRIVATE PHONE CALLS to management from my husband where out on loud speaker and the whole office made fun of him and used vulgar language.
A friend was present and reported this back.
This was illegal I hope you know.

We now realised that ALEX did not care at all for my husbands well being and so we had to take the matter into our own hands.

One night, the final night - he was called back to the office 3 times to pick up MORE pallets!!!!
The van was so weighed down the tires were flat.
We actually have a photograph to prove this.
IMPORTANTLY- multiple calls were made to my husband REPEATEDLY while he was DRIVING from ALEX, management.
Do you know how dangerous this is????
We have screenshots to prove the calls made to my husbands phone that night.

The stress was too much, the workload far above what is recommended for his health condition.
He started having severe chest pains! At this point he has been advised to either go to A&E or home to rest if the pain subsides.
The pain continued!!!!! And so I told him to go back to the office and let them know he had to go off sick. We needed to get him to A&E or find urgent help.
I was the one to say ENOUGH because he felt like he was letting the company down.
But I realised it was always going to be this way and it was not worth potentially losing my husband for some company. And so we agreed enough was enough, after 6 months of kissing heiny!

When he told management what had happened, and that he had to go off sick due to sever chest pains- ALEX CHASED HIM AND SAID NO!! YOU ARE NOT LEAVING!!!!!!
(What a piece of work!!)
My husband turned to him and said - Try make me. He then walked out the door and we finally got him the care he needed.

The next day was his OFF DAY- they called to ask if he would come to work!!!!!!!!
Of course he said no as we were arranging doctors appointments and my husband was on bed rest.

A few hours later we were informed his contract was terminated immediately. And that management was angry! Good Lord, what kind of people are you?

You fire a man for calling in sick due to a possible heart attack or one of many other potential heart complications.
That is disgusting.

I’m sure you understand how terribly bad this could go for you.
This was disgusting behaviour and you almost cost my husband his life!!
I will never let this go!

To end my review, within days he found another delivery job where management was more than happy to accommodate his needs and were so thankful for his hard work.

The problem clearly lies with you. Your Hatfield branch is awful and unethical. They discriminate, and in our case could be liable for harassment and defamation.
You abuse your staff!

If you are looking to work for Greencore- RUN!!!!!! They will take advantage of you and bleed you dry!

I had an encounter with a driver who was very aggressive and rude. I was actually harassed by the driver of ‘Greencore’. I don’t think they should employee careless unprofessional drivers who represent the company poorly.

Very disappointed and in fact it has impacted on my mental health. I hope they take action.
