This company has had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I used their product for a number of years, and when I had a problem they could not help fix it. They would not apeak over the phone, or provide a live chat to work on the issue. They send emails hours to days apart with no helpful information, and force you to use their chat bots. I asked for a refund and their automated bots just canceled my service and will not discuss giving money back.
This programm is really nice and it does everything it says it should really do. Once I got started, Usig
it got even better. than before, But as soon as I finished
Using the wurd proceessor became just like instinct.
I Love this programm. I use it on EVERY text document I have wrote.
Thanks Granmarrly, Your the best
I was fraudulently charged for $630 by Grammarly. They charged me five times with the amount of $119.96 and one time for $29.99. They have no customer service that you can call to dispute the transaction immediately you have to submit a ticket and when you submit the ticket they are asking for essentially 10 of your 16 digits of the debit card, which would make it easy to commit fraud again in the future I dispute the charges with my bank and will be getting a refund, but if I don’t get my money back I plan to take legal action
Only leaving 1 start because I had to. Never use grammarly. There is no customer service no human to talk to!!!! This is a terrible app!!!!
I wanted to use the free trail version of premium to get a feel for it and if it was something I wanted to commit to. I forgot to cancel the trial and was charged over $150. I want to be clear that the premium works well, but it is not worth that amount of money. I believe they should get rid of the automatic charging and simply ask if you want to continue using the premium version and then charge accordingly.
I like the features of grammarly but this software nearly destroyed my computer. My iMac m3 became super slow and I thought it was a corrupted user after a Mac OS upgrade until I removed grammarly which was the culprit. My computer is back to normal since I remote this bloatware.
Loved it, until they abruptly decided to cease support for MS Word on Mac without warning - two months after I had re-subscribed for the year. They're saying there's nothing they can do, I have it for a year - whether I can use it or not. Completely defeats the purpose for me without the MS Word integration.
I have used Grammarly for several articles. It used to be straight forward when I opened it and could see the pop up where the errors were listed. Now, after the AI changes, I can see the errors and there is no list. The only option is to scroll and find them. I have shifted from Grammarly to Langauge Tools. Grammarly started well but complicating things made me change to new sites. I don't need complicated things or to be aski g AI things I need to do personally. Let them enjoy their tool on their own.
On December 25th, I used this free service to write a cover letter for a job I had no idea that I was being subscribed to.
Only now, in February 2026, I spotted £120 that was taken from my credit card; the transaction was made on the 7th of January 2026 without my knowledge.
A reached out to the customer service team, who answered back within minutes, saying that they will cancel the subscription as of the 7th of January 2026, but there will be no refund, and please read the subscription for terms and conditions, which I'm trying to find and understand until now.
On an email I explained that I did not authorize the payment and I did not want to subscribe to this service, it was a free service I used on the day and theat i want a refund and escalate this issue but surprisedly they are taking their time to answer this question back.
Can anybody advise me on what step to take now? Has anyone taking this issue further and managed to get any results?.
I would be very grateful if anyone could advise me on how to recover the money I did not authorise.
I'm finding this situation very confusing and frustrating due to a lack of communication, and it's time-consuming having to keep on sending emails back and forth without any result.
I joined a free 7 day trial today they said I could cancel anytime. I just tried but they want an absurd amount of money to cancel. Nothing was mentioned about a cancellation fee. I am 73 years old and joined on a whim! I simply wish to cancel. HELP PLEASE
I want to write an honest review of Grammarly. It is a fantastic product. I initially had no intention of ever paying for it, let alone using it. My son asked if we could get it, so I originally got it for him. However, I can confidently say that I will be a long-time user.
What I particularly appreciate about Grammarly, compared to AI tools, is its ability to enhance my writing while preserving my original ideas. I enjoy writing stories and sharing my experiences, but when I use AI to improve my writing, it often rephrases my stories in a way that doesn’t capture my intended meaning. In contrast, Grammarly takes what I have written and improves it without changing the context.
If you have ever been on the fence about trying Grammarly, I would highly recommend it!
Using Grammarly has genuinely changed the way I write. I love how it catches tiny typos I’d normally miss and offers smarter ways to phrase sentences so they actually make sense. The suggestions for tone and clarity are super useful, especially when I’m writing emails, reports or even casual posts.
The one thing I wish is different is that some really helpful features are locked behind the paid plan like advanced vocabulary suggestions and tone detection. It would be amazing if more of these were free because the basic version is already great. Even so, I find myself using Grammarly almost every day it’s like having a little editor in your pocket, always ready to make your writing smoother and more professional.
there is a huge ongoing bug on grammarly where humanizer literally skips the whole paragraphs and move onto another one, without making any changes to it, I'm going to explode soon, and if they don't fix it, also unsubscribe.
Stop using or paying for anything from this motherboard company. Just a money eater
Spell check use to be FREE !!! WTF !!!
Grammarly is good only for checking your spelling and grammar. If you are trying to use it for any of the other AI features, you will be disappointed. It suggested changes due to "AI detection" and then after making those changes, it suggested I use the original wording. They also bank on you not recognizing subscription reminder emails and do not offer any refund for any reason unless you find a legal one. They are just trying to trick people into paying money.
I wish I had viewed the TP reviews on this company before I tried their trial offer. Like other purchasers, I was advised I would be sent a warning that the trial was about to expire. This did not happen. Instead, I just had £120 deducted from my credit card account. Be warned. I only used their app.once.
