We had a fantastic experience with Gowland White and couldn’t be happier with the service we received throughout the sale of our home.

We initially dealt with Magda for our valuation, and she took the time to explain everything clearly, answer our questions and talk us through the process without putting us under any pressure. This made a real difference and was ultimately the reason we chose Gowland White to sell our home.

We then worked with Demi, who was brilliant throughout the process. She kept us informed at every stage and helped us secure the sale price we were looking for, which we really appreciated.

Having dealt with several other estate agents during the process of viewing properties and purchasing our new home, I was genuinely impressed by the level of service, communication and professionalism we received from Gowland White. It really confirmed that we had made the right decision choosing them.

My property has been listed with Gowland White for almost two months now. In that time, I have not had a single viewing, but more importantly, there has been zero proactive communication or updates from their team.

The pattern seems to be: sign the agreement, upload the photos, and then completely forget the client exists. The only time I hear anything is when I make the effort to reach out to them first.

Selling a home requires active management, continuous feedback on market positioning, and clear updates—none of which I have experienced here. Extremely disappointed with the lack of service.

On the whole our experience with Gowland White was very good. The staff were always helpful and friendly and were very prompt with returning our calls or emails.
The only negative thing was not having enough time to view the property we bought especially on follow up viewings when we wanted to do some measuring up.

We’ve just completed a sale on a house in Stockton on Tees. After a lot of research we used Gowland White as our selling agent. From the onset we dealt with a young lady called Esther who is a huge asset to their business.

We recently sold through Gowland White. It was a close call as to who to go with, as we called in several different agents to provide a quote. Pleased with our choice, great photos and videos and excellent marketing. Claire was our main contact, but excellent communications from the whole team. Appreciate the sales progression team following up every week or two to ensure that the sale didn't stagnate as they often can.

As a first time buyer, we were stepping into the un known, but everyone at Gowland white have been incredible from start to finish. Always available to answer any questions we had regarding properties listed, promptly arranged viewings for us and eventually offering sound advice when making an offer on a house. They have constantly kept in touch with us throughout the process of buying our house keeping us up to date with any changes, updates and good news.

What an amazing experience we have had, from start to finish.
After a death in the family, our uncle decided it was time to move somewhere smaller with supported living and sell his house that he grew up in for 60 years, in Middlesbrough.
I approached Gowland White in Stockton-on-Tees after a family relative had a good experience and recommended them.
We met Magda Todd who valued the property and explained everything to us very clearly, professionally and honestly.
The property had not gone officially "live" on the selling system yet, but we already had a viewing and an offer.
