Deflated & Frustrated!

My son bought a hot air balloon flight through Go Ballooning for me for my birthday in April 2011. After at least 10 frustrating attempts over the past two years to take my flight (each time cancelled because of 'weather conditions'), I telephoned the weather hotline on 13th April this year in the hope that I will finally get my balloon ride on the 14th, only to hear the short recorded message stating that they had ceased trading! Apart from not now getting the hot air balloon ride experience I was so looking forward to, I am extremely angry that this Company has taken my son's hard-earned money, which we it appears we have no hope of ever getting back, and that the owners are liquidating Go Ballooning, but apparently continuing to trade under other companies such as Sky Power. Shame on them .

Theives

Stole our money and we are not able to get a refund and no balloon flight! If I stole from a shop I would be prosecuted but it seems big business can get away with it!

They'll steal your money

Run by the same thieves who operated go ballooning. DO NOT TRUST unless you get your goods in advance or up front and even then be careful or you'll wind up paying for something you never receive.

I want £230 back! Con artists - avoid

Bought 2 balloon flight tickets (cost £230) for my mum and dad to give them something to look forward to when my dad finished his cancer treatment. Only to find out Go Ballooning have gone bust. I've spent the day trying to get my money back to no avail - paid via Paypal so it appears all the various means of recovery / chargeback / indemnity etc don't apply to me. I want my money back to treat my mum and dad to something! I'll be lucky to send them to get themselves a bag of chips...

Stop these people trading!!!!!!!! Wrong wrong wrong!!!

Bought 2 tickets to take my dad for a flight for his 70th. 2 years later and 5 cancelled flights later and they go out of business, but really just close go ballooning and move to one of their other ballooning companies.. Please someone tell me how people can take your money and just walk away to trade under a different name. Disgraceful! They should be made to repay every penny before they ever trade again!!! go ballooning.................I hope you sleep well at night thinking of all the hard earned cash you've taken from honest people ..... B@stards!

They owe me money!!

Booked with Go ballooning, (the sister company) and we are now £250 out of pocket. Not answered my E-Mail, demanding my money back from the company director, How dare they continue operating without paying people back their hard earned cash!! The only way they can come back from this is to work through the backlog of customers first, but there has been no mention of that!! Have informed the civil aviation authority and BBC watchdog program

Don't deal with these people!

My husband and I were given vouchers for a hot air balloon flight with "GO Ballooning", run by the same people as Go Vouchers, and many many other companies. The vouchers were our 25th wedding anniversary present from our family, eight cancelled flights over the last two years later the company have now gone bust. After our 6th cancelled flight I asked about a refund and was told we would only get 25% of the cost back, I couldn't waste my families money so stuck with it and was due to fly last Sunday only to find out when trying to ring to see if the flight was going to happen that the company had gone down. Thanks guys, hope you sleep well in your bed! you probably do though because this is not the first time you have gone into liquidation so you are abviously playing the system! Perhaps you could let me have my £267 back when you have finished your holiday and before you con thousands of other folk out of their hard earned cash.

Dont give them your business !

The owners are the same as the now bust GoBallooning, have lost over £230, with little hope of getting it back... hopefully the liquidators will chase the directors and seize assest from GoVouchers to refund GoBallooning customers !

Avoid this company

As rhcripps pointed out, this company is run by the same people as GoBallooning.co.uk, which went out of business due to poor management by collecting money and making promises to customers that it simply couldn't deliver. We've lost £180 and have little chance of getting it back.

Avoid this company

The company is run by the same Directors as Go Ballooning which has got hundreds of unhappy customers.

They take as many bookings as possible which they have no way of fulfilling. Then unreasonable terms and conditions eventually render your voucher useless. I now have two vouchers costing over £100 which I have had to bin.

I would avoid them at all costs, namely because Go Ballooning is now in liquidation.
