i expected from the beginning a one unit system all coming from the roof unit not having to route cables and other things and basically a glorified DIY setup that i had planned years and years ago to do myself with foldable solar panels and in trunk battery solar generator and it would of cost me a lesser price than this setup they gave us last minute with this last minute design they even told us to pre order the whole contraption and youd get a discounted price because it will be costing over 5k and if you look at it now its like 100-200$ over what most like me preordered it to so we got duped, we got scammed, its not working as intended, the design is not as intended, the price was promised to us in such a hopeful and early bird attitude type of way when it wasnt, the setup to have the system work properly is bootleg at best with black electric taped cables on the outside, its unfair unfinished product i perfer a setup with all in it like the original design with inhouse systems, i was even promised it would be protected from theft with ways to track it and proper lock yea we only got the proper lock thats held by plastic, which means it can be pried open with enough intent, and stolen in meere minutes cause everythings held on by screw types uncommon but easy to find bits to with modern kits like ifix it has and promised of 1200w solar at my full setup with a perfect no cloud day i had at peak sunlight per two seperate solar tracking apps i downloaded to verify at most it was giving me 980ish watts which theoretically can charge the car roughly 1kwh times before and after that it will drop significally making it closer to 600-700w avg for around peak sun times and before and after that your looking at anything from 50-400 w at best decent setup i dont know if it can give you 20 miles a day and if it can maybe only during peak sun season(if its not a rainy season where you live) otherwise its mild the price would of been much more feasable if we were promised the early bird special properly, the original design, a better guide on whats what rather than a makeshift video with lots of cuts several signs of unsureness throughout the video,even as far as unrealistic standards in wanting us to leave the battery unit outside the car on sunny days so it cools better( as if a sunny day can become a rainy day in mere minutes to hours) so overall quality i give it a 3/5 because they at least made the roof unit holding all the solar panels rough, good quality plastic for outer terrain,and low profile with an aerodynamic spoiler at the end and good leading edge at the front but thats just the design aspect of it i would of perfered the full setup originally intended with batter/inverter unit inside and all, value for my money i give it a 1/5 because it is something its not nothing either, but i could of done this system cheaper way way cheaper myself with even a custom roofrack aerodynamic box copuple screws and cables as well for i would say 1/3 the price i paid for all this
