The helpfulness of the staff on booking. The travel arrangements were great including transfers. The choice of hotel was brilliant being small, rustic and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are basic and could do with an update but are perfectly adequate.
Never having been on a singles holiday I was not quite sure what to expect, but I met a great group people and had a fantastic holiday. I can thoroughly recommend it.

I have travelled as a solo traveller several times before but not for around 9 yrs so was a bit nervous this time so decided to book with a company specialising in solo travel so I had more security as a lone female traveller.
The flight time on the Monday was very late arriving (2.55am the tues morning) and most the group would have been there from Monday lunchtime onwards so I paid £215 to fly out a day early on the Sunday so I could get a nights sleep before meeting my fellow guests.
I landed on time and got through passport control and baggage collection in under 30 mins and headed out the airport for my transfer at 3.15am to find no one there. I assumed maybe they were just running a bit late especially as I got through so quickly. This was not the case. After waiting about half hour I tried the emergency mobile contact number for Karen the rep from my paperwork and it was switched off! I continued to try this for the next 2hrs and left a voicemail and text and no one got back to me. By this time I was alone, pretty shaken up and not sure what to do. Eventually at 5.15am I got a cab on my own to the hotel arriving at 6am to find the hotel locked up and no one on reception.
I was finally spotted by one of the hotel staff heading out on her morning run at around 7.30am She couldn’t speak any English but did call another member of staff who contacted someone else and said someone should be with me in about 20 mins.
The receptionist finally arrived at 8.15am and advised me no one had advised the hotel I was coming a day early. She then took me up to my room, I realised it was not a pool view room that I’d paid for so had to go back down to reception to sort out, again apparently Go singles had advised I’d booked a standard room for the whole week when I’d booked and paid for the pool view. This was sorted and I was shown to the correct room just before 9am.
I raised a complaint with the Go singles office as soon as I woke up and continued exchanging emails with them over the course of the holiday, I am not unreasonable and understand mistakes sometimes happen but they refused to refund any part of the excess I paid for the extra night or give anything as compensation for what was an extremely stressful experience. Yes I used the room but had the transfer picked me up on time I would’ve been in the room by around 4.15am not 9am so obviously never got the nights sleep which was the only reason I paid extra to fly out early in the first place.
The only thing they agreed was to refund the taxi fare which even that they used a different exchange rate to what I’d got the day before when I changed up my money so left me out of pocket.
To add insult to injury later that afternoon the other rep Gary jokingly suggested in front of other guests that “its a shame you didn’t have my number as the emergency contact, you could’ve stayed at mine, nod nod wink wink” !!
Then the following morning at breakfast Karen the rep was more annoyed at the fact I had her number at all and said “ you shouldn’t even have that number, it’s my private uk number”
Despite all this I did have a lovely week away but this was entirely down to the lovely group and the wonderful staff at the Olympos rather than anything Go singles or the reps contributed.
Needless to say I will never use Go singles again, every other solo traveller company I’ve used has been significantly better organised and a much higher level of customer service.

Let me start this review by advising that this was only my second time as a solo traveller. My first experience was with the company I have been told is the gold standard in singles travel and the rep I had has a reputation as one of their best so I was judging this holiday against high standards.
Booking process - Definitely could be improved, from the dubious looking (but obviously legitimate) payment methods to the lack of communication from booking until very close to the holiday. I actually went back online to read further reviews a few weeks from my departure as I was convinced that I had fallen for a scam website.
Travel - Seemed a mixed experience amongst our group, I could not fault any part of my own, flights with Jet2 where others had lower standard budget airlines and a transfer waiting for me alone at the airport so we were able to leave as soon as I walked out of the airport door.
Hotel - Other than being in need of a little renovation the hotel ticked most of the boxes. Be aware that whereas some singles companies use exclusive singles hotels this is an adults only hotel but has couples staying in it. The only gripe I would have with the hotel, other than it being a little tired, is it's lack of staff who spoke a good level of English. The hotel appeared over-reliant on one member of staff (who admittedly worked 11am-1am six days a week) for anything requiring communication with English guests.
Reps - We had two reps for this holiday, who apparently had the same days off as one another, my expectation would be that if you are going to have two that would be to provide every day availability. Contact with the reps in an official capacity was very limited as they were there for a short time at breakfast and then for some of the included evening meals. The welcome meeting at the start of the holiday was very brief as was detail about any excursions available and what to expect. In the main however both were personable and got along with the group, the exception to this being the male rep, Gary, risking upsetting members of the group with his sense of humour including repeated sexist jokes and making fun of the strong regional accent of a group member (even considering he had a strong regional accent himself)
Food - The package included breakfast every day, this was a reasonable cold selection plus omelettes or eggs cooked fresh, other cooked items were available but as chargeable extras. The hotel offered a lunch service six days out of seven with an extensive menu priced broadly in line with the surrounding bars and restaurants and cooked to a good standard. The package also included four three course meals. One thing to bear in mind with these, if you are a picky eater, is that there were no options or alternatives given, you got what the chef cooked. Personally I thoroughly enjoyed all of the four meals and would also observe that despite the lack of choice the majority of the group ate the majority of every course.
Our group - My reason for picking Go Singles this holiday was the option to book a 30-49 age group holiday. Our group wasn't as large as I expected, we had three men and three women from the age group plus one young at heart older gentleman who had his booking changed by the operator. We all seemed to get along well despite no apparent effort being made by the reps to help with this, my expectation (and experience from my previous holiday) would be that solos holidays may be likely to include some quieter members and I would have expected some efforts to be made by the reps to ensure that a group dynamic formed to include everyone.
In conclusion, I enjoyed my week in Turkey, however, for the reasons highlighted above if I was a different personality I may not have.

Expensive. The did sort my change of holiday week before. The hotel was comfortable, good food. Chania was a nice resort in Crete. A few mishaps in the hotel. I bumped my head on a lethal metal shelf. The tour rep was nice but wasn’t helpful. I was with a nice small group. Mixed my opinion

The time spent on the boat was lovely. Great food and service throughout. I had been looking forward to fishing and paddle boarding, as suggested in the publicity for this holiday and was disappointed to see that these weren't available.
The company itself were very little help when we had severe delay to our outgoing flights and the communication from company staff felt disengaged and lacked any sense of real proactive support.

Great Holiday . Although changed at last minute . Hotel now 1st week Gulet second week . Would have been better other way round . First week at Hotel with under 50,s . Luckily I was accepted I'm over 70. Great companions .
Gulet boat fantastic and very relaxing with lovely other guests. Food superb..
Would go again but early or late season . Very hot at the moment July .
I have made enquiries regarding this company's Harrogate weekend in August and have discovered that the hotel they have selected does not provide for vegans whatsoever!
I really do not know who is worse out of the two organisations concerned for allowing this state of affairs to prevail - the hotel itself or Go Singles who are both burying their heads in the sand over the crisis our planet and environment is in as they prioritise lining their pockets by providing for the mass meat eaters.
Supply and demand should not be an excuse for vegans to be treated like second class citizens, discriminated against and made to feel that they shouldn't exist.
Thank you Go Singles for also depriving me of the opportunity of going on this trip!

We were a small group of 4 who soon bonded and had a good sense of humour. We all did our own thing mainly, during the day, but did share our experiences of each day.
The resort was small and the people friendly.
The hotel was clean and the restaurant itself was lovely.
The rooftop pool area was very sad/neglected. Lots of weeds and no pool bar. But I did enjoy the pool and the peace and quiet (though bear in mind there is a busy main road running past the hotel).
I did not use the spa facilities - but hear they were very good, indeed described as more superior than the hotel itself.
In all - an enjoyable/relaxing break.
There was little information at the hotel with regard to things to do, but there is a tourist information centre nearby.

As singles holidays go it fell below par for the following reasons.
1:- on the introduction meeting Id have thought they may have coordinated with the group to find out who wishes to go on excursions and what days are available to go instead it seemed to be left to us to engage with Karen or Gary at our discretion.
2 :- The reps were not onsite most of the time
Just in the morning for breakfast and at dinner. Surely (I'm assuming) they are getting paid for the day so you stay the day not when it suits you.
The good points seem to be the reps were pleasant to me and they did explain where to go in Fethiye and where to catch the dolls for the cable car and Fethiye and Gary did take us to Malibu to watch the england game and paddy's for a Guinness
But there was definitely a lack of organisation from the beginning.
The staff at the hotel were Amazing, particularly H and his understudy Javan can’t have been more helpful even though Javan cant speak english too well at the moment but Im sure he will get there.
I have had experience with another company called solos holidays and they do seem more organised and willing to go that extra mile.
so I'm sticking with solos holiday’s in the future.

Went to Olympos Hotel in Oludinez. A lovely boutique hotel, very clean and well maintained. The reps Gary and Karen were very professional and couldn’t be more helpful. Staff at the hotel were always cheerful and food was great. Highly recommended.

The trip was ,in overall terms a good one-----logistical travel arrangements well organised. Boat skipper an expert boat handler ------cabins were adequate if a tad cramped----he preferred quiet spots which well suited the party i was with----there were however two downsides which people should be aware of
1---There were no safety drills done at all---as a recreational sailor in the UK this was both surprising and a bit disconcerting-----no lifejackets all week (although i could have insisted i suppose)---to be fair would seem to be the norm on just about every boat i saw but still an accident waiting to happen
2--The cost of onboard drinks absolutely extortionate-----about triple shore prices (and these not cheap)
A distinct plus side i should mention to be fair was the quality of the food which was fabulous

Met at airport by driver,no problem.Cabin is fine for one person with ensuite toilet, shower and wash basin.Breakfast is typical Tukish, lunch mainly vegetarian and dinner fish or chicken.I found the food plentiful and freshly cooked. There is no Wi-Fi unless arranged with your provider. The group was 5 male and 2 female all getting along well. There is plenty of deck space to relax and lots of swimming stops, which for me was the purpose of the trip.
The Olympos hotel for week two definitely exceeded my expectation. My room had a comfortable double bed and the ensuite had a large walk in shower.Room was cleaned daily and bedding changed midweek.
The pool is a good size with plenty of sun beds and the 4 evening meals were freshly cooked and I found very enjoyable.Karen and Gary, the reps were very friendly and had good local knowledge.
The hotel is close to bus stops and a supermarket. The main centre of Hisoranu is about 15minutes walk away.
Room Tip.My rear facing room gave afternoon shade on the balcony.

The support from the organisers was good, it was lovely to actually meet two of them during my holiday. The hotel was good, staff very friendly. It would be improved by having more fruit available at breakfast and a menu choice advertised for dinner. The excursions I did were good, but we should have been warned to wear sensible shoes to visit the Ghost town. Ther reps were very friendly and took a personal interest in everyone which was lovely. I will ceretainly be booking again.

Recently returned from a two week stay at the Olympus. About an hour transfer from Dalaman airport the hotel is situated in a quiet but handy location with bus stops, shops and cash machines nearby. The hotel is clean and the staff are all helpful and friendly. There are plenty of trips days out if you like to keep busy or just relax by the pool. Lots of restaurants in walking distance or taxi ride away. Fethiye is about 35 mins away by dolmus (bus) cost 90p worth a visit. It was interesting to meet and chat with other similar travellers from different parts of the UK over meals at the hotel and local restaurants. Looking to return later in the year for the weeks walking.

The staff on the Yasawa Princess boat were fantastic there was 24 of them working to make it special and 13 of us. They went out of their way to make it a wonderful experience. The Maldives islands are beautiful, the sea so warm, the fish and coral were brilliant. Would recommend seeing the Maldives Atolls by boat touring round and stopping on islands that have not been spoilt by resorts the real Maldives. Scuba diving off a boat to see different reefs is something I will never forget.
A singles walking holiday in Turkey.
It’s about what you make of it.
I went predominantly for the walking.
To see the real Turkey, the real people.
The sheer beauty and historic architecture takes your breath away.
Along with a superb walking guide you get an owner willing to mix and participate throughout the week as well as aid you with any problem you may have.
The hotel offers three front of house staff including an excellent chef on her first season, who delivers every night.
The two young men who serve food and tend the bar among other tasks have been a joy all week and are as fun to stay with for a natter as your fellow guests.
My rep for the week was a Liverpudlian who added an unexpected dimension to the entire holiday.
It was admittedly a little quiet during the week of my visit but I met a selection of new and friendly fellow holidaymakers which helped create one of the best holidays I have ever taken.
Went away on Easter weekend with go singles .
This was my first break since I lost my wife and was feeling very apprehensive about it,my first trip away on my own for 40 years.and didn't no what to expect.
But all my fears were put to rest when I arrived, every one was very friendly and had a really good time ,Beth the rep was great and made sure everyone got yo know each other
.I shall definitely go on another break with them if the situation arises again
