A wonderful shop, great products and a huge selection. We bought twp pairs of walking shoes from Meindl. With help from Max who really knows his shoes/boots and was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgable. Worth joining their loyalty scheme.

My experience with GO Outdoors depends very much on whether I shop in-store or online. The store staff have been friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would happily give them five stars.

Unfortunately, my online experience has been much less positive. The website required me to buy a new membership to access member prices, even though I already had a membership card. There was no option to enter my existing card number, and the information on the website led me to believe my membership had expired. Staff in-store later confirmed that my original card was still valid.

£5 isn’t a fortune, so I accepted that I now had two memberships. However, the confirmation email said my new card would arrive within a few days of the transaction. As of 9 October 2026, it still hasn’t arrived.

My click-and-collect order arrived at the store on time, but I never received an email telling me it was ready to collect. When I happened to be nearby, I went in to ask about it and discovered it had been waiting for me for a week.

The in-store team deserve five stars, but the online membership process and communication need serious improvement.

Muhammad Khan was very helpful, got me the size I needed and checked the fit was correct.

I was treated extremely well by all of your staff who were excellent, knowledgeable and very pleasant . A special mention of Robin- fantastic guy.

I was served by a young lady called Hassti, she was very helpful. I wanted to buy two camping cookers and the gas cannisters and she helped me with it all. As it was quite heavy to carry around Kingston whilst I was shopping, she kindly put my bags to one side for me, to collect later. Also friendly with a smile 😃. I will be shopping here again. I also bought a coat last week, great store. Also a young man showed us where the cannisters were, very helpful staff and pleasant

Kingston branch, got help from staff member Max on choosing a hiking boot for the enemy as she wasn't able to go herself. Really helpful and friendly with good knowledge and I walked out with a great pair of boots. She is very happy with the choice of boot and I'm not in the dog house 😆 thanks for the help Max 👍
Really great store in Kingston, highly recommend.

Click and collect wasn't really working so they didn't know whether my items had arrived or not. It turned out they had. Then a week later I got a call to ask if I'd got my items, so I guess they hadn't worked out what they'd given out.

I was just looking for socks and insoles and had been in many other shops with no luck. When I entered the shop I was greeted by Max and when I told him what I was looking for he was friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the products, and gave me great advice when I explained my requirements. I came away with exactly what I wanted and will definitely go back in future. Thanks

Each time I have visited this store I have had exceptional service. When choosing new hiking boots a gentleman (annoyingly I cant remember his name) helped me find just the right boots and recommended a pair I had not picked and these were perfect. On another occasion my husband and I were looking for a tent. Shaun went the extra mile in advising us and even found us exactly what we wanted hiding in the stock room. Everyone I have spoken to at the Kingston store is so friendly and helpful and I can't rate them highly enough!
