Went backpacking to Australia and the guys in store were absolutely amazing and so helpful. Suggested certain bags which would be easier for me, couldn’t ask for more from them

We bought some camping chairs at the Colchester branch. Very helpful staff and with unpacked chairs to try-out we found the perfect ones for us, and great value pricing.

Eva Wright on tills was very helpful at telling me what a Members card is and does. She took her time explaining things to me and showed me where everything in the store was.

Great experience today in store. Staff were very experienced and helpful. Just such a shame the store is closing. Hope to see a new store reopen soon in Colchester.

Excellent customer service from Fraser at Go Outdoors. Genuinely helpful, knowledgeable, and happy to go the extra mile.

I needed a new tent for work that I could rely on in all weather conditions, as I work in stage production throughout the year.

Fraser was really helpful and gave me some great recommendations to make sure I got the right tent. He also gave me some useful advice on other bits of kit that would come in handy during the colder months.

First time hiking, Mike in store knew exactly what he was talking about! He took the time to go through different options available and instead of bombarding me with information and leaving me to it, he showed me round the store and helped me to choose the correct products for my needs(considering suitable support with disabilities, within my budget. Your employee Eva Wright made my experience very easy to find water proof clothing and camping equipment for my weekend away in the Lake District.

It was my first time going into Go Outdoors as I heard it's closing down very soon, and what a lovely experience I had whilst looking in the store! The Customer Service was spot on throughout and left very happy with purchasing an early Christmas present! Massive shame the store is closing!

I came into store looking for a pair of hiking boots. The manager Mike was really helpful throughout offering excellent advice explaining the different options available and making sure I was well informed before making my choice.

Popped in to get some clothes for my next hiking trip Mike was so helpful during this experience! He explained everything with great detail and couldn’t of done enough to make sure I’d made the right decisions with my purchase.
