Outstanding Customer Service Morgan G
Got to mention Morgan G from Cardiff (Newport Road). He was exceptionally knowledgeable and gave me and excellent run down of what I needed for camping with my daughter. Polite, friendly and was great with my 4 year old as well. I came away from the store knowing everything I needed. I've since been back and dropped some £££ based on his recommendations. Thanks Morgan. I know he's saving for a Tentbox type tent, if the powers that be see this perhaps they can help the lad out with this.

I returned a tent today which I…
I returned a tent today which I purchased two weeks ago for £548.97. After booking a holiday and arriving to put the tent up only to find grass everywhere it was soaking wet with mould of which I took photos, tried ringing the shop to hopefully exchange at a shop nearby our holiday location and no answer for hours, after waiting 2 days before my call was answered whilst ringing constantly only to be told I would have to take it back to the shop it was bought from. After taking it back today and explaining and informing them we had to buy pegs as there were not enough with the tent and there were half chewing gum packets in the bedroom areas grass absolutely everywhere I was told the tag for returns must have fell off it. No apologies no courtesy vouchers absolutely nothing. I have spent £768.23 plus another sum to buy a toilet, chemicals, toilet roll in total including the tent in your store and will never return! Absolutely disgusting customer service.

We understand how disappointing and frustrating this must have been. Purchasing a tent for your holiday, only to discover it appeared to have been previously used, with grass, mould, insufficient pegs and litter left inside, is completely unacceptable and not the standard we expect from our products.
We are also sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced when trying to contact the store. Having to repeatedly call over several days before receiving a response, only to be advised to return the tent to the original store, would understandably add further frustration to an already difficult situation.
We are disappointed to learn that when you returned the tent, you felt your concerns were not acknowledged appropriately and that you did not receive an apology for the inconvenience and disruption caused to your holiday plans. This is not the level of customer service we strive to provide.
Your feedback has been passed to the relevant teams for improvements to be made.

Helpful & Friendly staff
Visited Go Outdoors just to look around and get an understanding and ended up coming out with a tent and some accessories for our upcoming first camping trip. MORGAN. T at Go Outdoors Cardiff was out of this world, fantastic!!! My son needed new trekking shoes as we found out three days before he was going to Scout camp. This of course made my husband and myself very stressed out with this small matter (sad but true). MORGAN. T was knowledgeable, patient with us and made our son’s decision easier on foot wear. He spent a lot of time and effort with us and I actually felt sorry for MORGAN. T to put up with us. We went to look at tents tonight. They were all set out, making choosing very easy. We were served by Morgan T and were very impressed. He was very professional yet friendly and sold us a whole set up. He even helped us carry it to the car.
