Fantastic- Terry in the bike section knew exactly how to mend my bike and went above and beyond to help me. Hes always fantastic and very knowledgeable with all things bike having had bike servicing done by him before so i knew exactly who to go too with my daughters bike today!

James G a very helpful coworker helped us find the perfect dofe bag , provided us with amazing information making it alot easier

We were asked if we needed any help or advise by James G as we were looking for a suitable tent for a camping trip. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient, answering our many questions about the tents displayed which helped enormously in making our final purchase decision. On our second visit to store for camping accessories James G was equally as helpful in checking stock etc. We couldn't have asked for a better service.

I’ve always been impressed with the staff at Go Outdoors. On this occasion I was at the Basingstoke store, buying hiking shoes and a backpack. Excellent customer service! Liv helped my girls with finding a riding helmet. She was super friendly, shared her own experiences and was really knowledgeable, that helped us come to a decision and gave my youngest a sticker to cheer her up! Nothing was a hassle or stressful. Excellent. Had the help from an excellent knowledgeable young man named James G who helped us choose the right camping beds and sleeping bags as well as a camping table. He was very polite and helpful. The shop itself was well stocked and had everything we needed.

Matthew was extremely helpful and affable, nothing was too much trouble. When the cable we needed wasn't on the shelf he went to see if there was one in the stock room. We were surprised that the Cardac BBQ we wanted was not on show so we could see it before buying, he happily unpacked a box to show us. Thank you Matthew.

The shop is spaced out very well a lot of choice and plenty of deals to be had with a discount card. When paying Julia couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. It makes such a difference when you have such lovely staff! Well done Basingstoke store!

Came in looking for a sleeping pad. James T helped me find what I was looking for. He was helpful and friendly. James used personal experience with products to help me make a decision and he sought advice from a colleague when he was unsure of an answer to my question. Thank you!

Carol and Sian on the tills were really helpful when I was buying a riding hat. They only had a display one to buy but were very thorough in explaining my options etc

I popped in to pick up a new tent along with a festival trolley. Had some questions about the various trollies. The staff went above and beyond for me. Nothing was a problem and they were even running round the store for me locating items that I needed. Both Terry and Sian are a credit to your business. If only I could get this level of customer care in other retail shops!

Natalie went out of her way to help me today and provided excellent customer service, I was very impressed. Anya helped me at the tills and kindly allowed me time to pop back to get something I’d forgotten. I will be sure to recommend the Basingstoke branch to friends and family. Popped in to look at tables and chairs for the van to upgrade what we currently have. Met a very helpful chap that told us about the buy 1 get 1 half price deal which was fab as we wanted 2 chairs. However it wasn’t so great that they’d increased the price of the table we wanted from £40 to £60 as it was now part of the same deal.
Lastly the young lady at the checkout was fairly uncommunicative and a bit disinterested.
Overall we still grabbed a bargain but will look elsewhere for a table.

Went to exchange a defective jacket and the process was seamless. All staff i came into contact with gave excellent customer service. Will always buy from here.
