My experience with Google and their advertising platform Google Ads has been extremely disappointing and raises serious concerns about transparency and accessibility of customer support.
My account was suspended and I was instructed to submit an appeal through the official reconsideration form. However, the appeal process itself appears fundamentally flawed.
The form requests an excessive amount of personal and business information, including documentation that goes far beyond what would normally be required for a simple account review. Despite complying with the process, the form does not function correctly. The "Next" button simply does not respond, preventing the appeal from even being submitted.
I attempted to resolve the issue by:
Trying multiple browsers
Using different devices
Clearing cache and cookies
None of these steps resolved the issue.
More concerning is the complete absence of meaningful customer support. There is:
No accessible customer service representative
No direct support email
No real-time assistance
No effective escalation process
The only responses available are automated system replies that provide no practical solution and do not address the actual technical problem.
For a global technology company of Google's scale and influence, this lack of accessible support and the reliance on automated responses creates a serious imbalance between the platform and the businesses that rely on it.
Advertisers are expected to comply with strict policies, provide extensive documentation, and invest financially in the platform. This situation raises legitimate concerns about accountability and fairness in the advertiser support process.
A platform that plays such a central role in the global digital advertising ecosystem should provide:
Functional appeal mechanisms
Transparent review procedures
Accessible human support channels
Until these issues are addressed, the current system leaves advertisers without an effective
