Good service, but disorganized

They shipped the gold/silver relatively fast, and it arrived packaged well. When I ask them to store my gold/silver again, though, they said they didn't see my stack of 10 1 oz silver rounds. When I asked them about it, it took them 3 weeks to find it. I shipped my silver to them all in one box. They shouldn't have been able to misplace the 10 oz stack of silver if it all came in one box.

I know goldsilver did the best they…

I know goldsilver did the best they could but the FedEx company is hard to deal with. They give you a eight hour window that you have to stay and wait for them to make the delivery. If you go to the bathroom and miss them, it’s all over. I prefer to go to the FedEx office and pick up my goods. Thank you, Russell Zavala.

I hate to give Mike Maloney a bad review BUT...

UPDATED: Down from a 1/5 stars to a 0/5 stars!

The people at Goldsilver.com actually challenged my review saying it was all made up! Further, to clarify, I have no metals in storage with goldsilver.com. My account was simply me ordering metals, having them delivered, and that was it. And my most recent order was more than 5 years ago!

It pains me to write a poor review on Mike Maloney's site, but feel I must.

My name changed recently and emailed customer service to update it (as I was wanting to place an order). Customer service took quite a while to respond, but asked for all kinds of crazy documents to change the name. I'm sorry but i do not feel comfortable uploading driver license pictures, birth certificates, court orders, etc to random people. What if goldsilver.com gets hacked? My info got hacked at Equifax and Capital One. Now my info is on the dark web.

Since GS.com decided not to comply with my request, I asked that they delete my account. I was told they can not delete it because there has been previous sales on the account. All they could do was offline it. JM bullion allows the account owner to change the name on their account themselves instantly through My Account, without sending highly person documents electronically

goldsilver.com lost my business. I'll use jmbullion or SDbullion going forward.

For the security of your account, if a request such as "change the name/ownership of the metals held in storage to this new name" may come to our customer service team - we would not be adhering to your request too hastily or without formal proof.

Regarding the request for personal documents, we understand your concerns about privacy and security. The reason that we would list all of those document options is to see which one may pertain to you. Was it a marriage name change? A legal name change? Death on the account etc.

However, there is always room for improvement in how we handle such requests, and we will reevaluate our procedures to make the document request process more comfortable for our customers.

I recently made G&S my IRA dealer and…

I recently made G&S my IRA dealer and have been buying from them for 7 years now. Very reliable company. Have always delivered what I have asked for with no problems. They have been trustworthy in all areas I have used them. I have bought from other dealers but always end up coming back to G&S. I won't be going anywhere else from now on.

Great continued education-great people who care - great service

I've been dealing with them for a few years now.

I once had difficulty executing an order from the site ( user error- I tend to be in a hurry at times). My resolve? I called the customer service number and got a helpful young lady to place my order over the phone and she explained why my order wasn't going through online. She also added me as an Insider because of the diverse metals I've invested in ( a mix of silver and gold yet neither enough to give this status to me but combined she said that made me eligible!) Bonus!!
I cannot complain about this company at all.
Mike also is an excellent educator and I truly believe the mission of this company is to educate people so that they can make decisions for the future and to help preserve and grow some wealth for our uncertain changing times. I learn continually from the videos, Mike's books and my new favorite to watch is The Hidden Secrets of Money. Very easy to understand this series explaining Simply, what really is going on with currency! Watch one and I guarantee you will be hooked and angry at the wool being pulled over our eyes! Everyone I mean everyone should know this information!

The gold eagle I paid for got lost…

The gold eagle I paid for got lost somewhere along the way. For some reason it was shipped in a separate package. I received the silver eagles but not the gold.
