Everything went smooth.

Excellent from start to finish. Shuttle bus was speedy, getting the car was brilliant, even had the chance to upgrade at very little extra cost. Car was amazing and only done 4k miles. Handing the car back was quick and easy. Will definitely use again.

I thought the process of hiring a car with Gobycar in Menorca was fantastic. Everything was very smooth from start to finish, and the shuttle bus from the airport was extremely well organised and very quick. I also opted for the premium cover, which gave me some additional peace of mind.

The only suggestion I would make is around collecting the car. Rather than having the car parked in the multi-storey car park, it would have been much better to have it ready to collect from the forecourt at the office, or to have a member of staff accompany you to the car.

The car park is very tight to navigate and exit, and as I was driving an unfamiliar car with the controls on the opposite side to what I’m used to, I found it quite nerve-wracking. We were simply given the keys and told to go upstairs to find the car ourselves, so there was no opportunity to have the controls explained, ask any questions about the vehicle or get help getting out of the car park. In the end, I had to ask someone to do me a favour and drive the car out for me.

I think a quick handover at the car, with someone showing you the controls and helping you safely exit the car park, would make an already excellent service even better.

Other than that, I was really impressed with Gobycar and would definitely use them again.

The car advertised was for 2 large suitcases and 3 small suitcases but when we arrived we was given a car which did not fit in our luggage.
As we was travelling with another party and both had the same problem we had no option but to ask for a bigger vehicle but was asked to pay an extra charge for this which I though was unfair and false advertising of the initial vehicles.

Great experience for a very good price and very friendly staff. Easy process to pick up and drop off, both took 10 min max if at all!

Great car and great company. Everything went by smoothly. The car was almost brand new and worked perfectly. Bought their all in clusive insurance and it feelt very safe. Recommend!

Car was dirty. They did not send on contract at start of rental period.
They then sent on an invoice for "damage" with no supporting evidence.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. There are better companies.

I’ve rented many cars over the last 20 years , GOBY is definitely up there with the best of them. Easy to book on line with no hidden extra’s, great pricing, friendly and quick pick up at Malaga airport. The car was as new with only 200 kilometres on clock.
Will definately use them again in the future.

Staff most helpful and friendly

This is a great company. The staff: CLAUDIA … she was exceptional and she helped me with the car play and calmed me down - Yuste, and Irene were also great and could not have done enough for me. I was very tired and very anxious about everything and they were great. I was so impressed with the staff - they were very human and understanding.
I have now returned the car and it was all very calm and organised . THE Malaga office is absolutely brilliant , the car was superb and I will definitely be using GOBYCAR from now on .

I have booked and paid online, good price for full insurance. The site is user friendly. On the day of arrival we were late for two hours, but that wasn't problem at all. At the desk we have asked to upgrade car, which was accepted and we have received good recommendation regarding which car to choose. The car was new, we drove 1700km, gave it back easily and fast. Highly recommend Gobycar!

Overall I can't fault mt experience with GobyCar, booking was easy enough for a car in Girona Spain, collection was smooth enough, though they did not have the car I booked, instead I got a bigger Petrol car which was rubbish on fuel, apart from that, the collection and drop off went without any issues.
Too cover my back from past really bad experiences with EuroCar, I took pictures of everything to do with the car before and after, i also made sure the car was cleaned before dropping back so there was no excuse for any surprise charges. And too my surprise there wasnt any. So all in all this is the first time I have rented a car abroad and NOT had ridiculous, scammy charges added on at the end. So 5/5 for that.

When I arrived to pick up the car, the service was excellent. Everything was explained in detail, and all my questions were answered, so I had no doubts at all.

When I returned the car, since I had full insurance, it was just a quick check-up, and my deposit was back in my account within 20 to 30 minutes.

I highly recommend them!

Great customer service - had the keys in my hand within 10mins and was away. On return the keys were dropped off, no issues with the vehicle after a walk around and deposit back to my account within 2hrs.

Would have given 5 stars but for the clarity of picking up the shuttle bus. When getting your instructions for pick up at the airport, look above the pitched roof at the end of each bay in the car park and it will have a location number (11a for example) there are a few shuttle buses that arrive in the area and I don’t remember seeing a sign for GoByCar to inform which I had to get, I just had to ask around. Besides that everything was a smooth transaction. The car was nice and clean and the staff members very nice. Will use again once back on the island.
