As we all know delivery was very late . Was this due to the ongoing crisis of all thuings right now or becuase of the packing needs of the tripod?
I have owned Gitzo for years and have always had great service the few times I needed some info or help.

Well-made and very stable for a light-weight tripod. Very compact when folded. I also got the backpack and it is also well-made if a bit on the heavy side.

Great travel tripod and strong and steady enough to be my full time go to tripod. Thank you Gitzo.

Gitzo is the third tripod I've purchased but finally my last! I love it. Perfect for all varieties of photography! I never worry anymore that my equipment is vulnerable.

Conform to high expectations. This being said, for such a (high) price, I am somewhat disappointed that there is no very strong, comfortable extra handle (ideally laterally, but here not even one on top) to conveniently carry the loaded bag (with heavy optical material, say 15kg) on short distances (station, car to train, ...) like one does for heavy suitcases.

I ordered a long spike for my Gitzo monopod and it arrived quickly.
Very pleased with it although I feel it was a little overpriced for what it is.

The tabletop Gitzo tripod is definitely expensive, but it’s also a miniaturized version of their full-sized tripods, so it’s pretty strong. It will hold your lightweight pinhole cameras and fixed lens mirror less as well. I have a heavy Nikon F4 and F5 and it can handle those fitted with a short, lightweight prime lens but not much else. Very compact and portable and definitely a ‘specialized’ tool like a garage tool that you need but don’t often use.
