After going back and forth with them a bunch and even telling them I’d report them and call them out as scammers, my sunglasses finally showed up. It took about 3 weeks for them to even ship my order, but I picked them up today and yes, they’re legit.
That said, the whole experience felt pretty shady. If I hadn’t kept pushing and filing complaints, I honestly don’t think they would’ve sent anything, especially since the same thing has happened to other people in the reviews.
I wouldn’t recommend buying from this site at all—this could easily happen to anyone. I just got lucky they finally came because I kept pressuring them. It’s pretty frustrating to see sites like this not keep their word and operate like this. Definitely don’t buy from here.

While you outline a timeline that appears compliant on paper, it does not fully reflect the actual customer experience. The main issue was not only the total delivery time, but the lack of proactive communication and the uncertainty surrounding the status of the order for several days.
Although you state that your handling time is approximately 7 working days, this is significantly longer than standard expectations in the market, especially when this is not clearly emphasized at the moment of purchase in a way that reflects the real waiting time experienced by the customer.
Additionally, the fact that tracking information was not active for a period of time contributed to the perception that the order had not yet been shipped. From a customer perspective, this creates uncertainty and undermines trust, regardless of internal processes.
Regarding your statement that the order would have been shipped regardless of my follow-ups, I find it difficult to ignore the timing, as the shipment occurred immediately after my inquiry. While this may be coincidental, it does not inspire confidence from a customer standpoint.
I acknowledge that delays caused by the courier may be outside your control. However, managing customer expectations and ensuring transparency throughout the process is fully within your responsibility.
I am glad that the product has finally arrived and is authentic. That said, the overall experience did not meet reasonable expectations in terms of communication and clarity.

I have been using Giarre.com for many years and I have always been thrilled with my glasses and lenses. So much cheaper than buying in the UK and the lenses are far superior than those you pay silly prices for in the UK. I just received my gorgeous new prescription and Guess frames and am absolutely thrilled. Perfect fit, superb clarity and balance in my varifocal lenses. Highly recommended.

Voucher=lost money. Especially when it comes to your company as, see below, you sell items that you don't have and never arrive at the buyer.
Technical advice: take an envelope, put a 20 euro bill in it, write my adress on the envelope, take it to the post office. Problem solved.
SECOND REPLY to Giarre on 03.04.26: basically giarre you are LYING! In my communication with Ms. Alice Verla she stated the following when referring to the extra shipment costs I had when I returned to you the wrongly sent item:
"I have discussed your request with our administration department, and we confirm that we can proceed with a direct reimbursement to your credit card instead of a voucher."
I didn't get the voucher, because I rejected it. So... you charge me for your mistake. Never ever in my worst nightmares would I buy anything from this company again and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Have a nice easter, Giarre. BTW i can keep doing this till the end of time... so bring it on.
REPLY to Giarre: as of today 02.04.26: I have NOT received reimbursement for the almost 20 euros I had to pay extra to RETURN THE WRONG ITEM to Giarre. The only thing I got from the interaction with Giarre is that I am 20 euros poorer. I put it in the hands of my Mastercard insurance. Ridiculous!!
Absolutely the worst experience ever. 1/5 because i can't give them a 0/5.
They sent the wrong item. I returned it to them with the obvious promise they would cover the return shipping costs, but they never reimbursed me for those costs. Not even after insisting. In my opinion simply fraud.
So 27 (twenty seven!!!) emails later, two months, no frames, no sunglasses, almost 20 euros gone for their outperforming incompetence. Thank god I am insured via Mastercard.
BTW: they admitted in the mail that the frame they sent was a mistake on the pictures they have on their webpage.

I was initially wary of their return policy based on concerns that Customs Officials might disallow frames (they have done so previously), but I risked it and all worked out well. The etnia Barcelona frames are great and they were inexpensive, even including international shipping. I'd buy from Giarre again.

I purchased a pair of sunglasses for $368 using PayPal pay by 4. Shortly after my first payment I received an email from Alice at Giarre saying they wouldn’t be in stock for 6 weeks and I could wait or cancel for a full refund. I chose the refund. Days went by and no sign of it. I then have 3 more follow up emails with Alice telling me she would request the refund straight away and would cancel the order. As my 2nd payment loomed and no cancellation occurred I contacted PayPal and put in a dispute. My mistake I only made the claim for the first payment as I thought PayPal would just cancel the rest. After a bit of a mess around Giarre finally refunded 3/4 of my payment. I contacted them to ask where the further $92 was and got a robotic answer saying they had fulfilled the amount I requested so the case was closed! Unbelievable! No wonder people suffer anxiety when there are scam companies out there preying on sucking up your cash!

I received a pair of Oakley Holbrook Jade/Fade from the fantastic people at Giarre.com..... I also needed some Polarised lenses which they sourced for me.....without hesitation.
I keep using Giarre.com because the level of service is second to none. Send an email with a question or request....and without delay, it's answered, politely and concisely.
(and I haven't even mentioned the fantastic range and unbeatable pricing)
The SWP lenses in the Jade/Fade frame worked out perfectly for me.

On Monday I received another pair of Oakley Holbrook from the fantastic people at Giarre.com.
This particular model wasn't even listed on their website..... I emailed in a request and the Holbrooks where sourced from Luxotica for me.
You would not get this dedication to customer service from any other seller.
I am now the proud owner of a pair of classic matt black Holbrooks with the truly amazing Prizm Tungsten Polarised lens.
