-Garmin the watch company and Garmin…
-Garmin the watch company and Garmin the web page -The worst experience with a product and susequently with a service in 20 years -Garminn Fenix 3 was good , and from there it all went downhill fast.
The fenix 7 it is an absolute nightmare of a watch , anti-user menu, over complicated and imposible to read also. OTHER than the RUN outdoors, it does nothing as advertised , moreover it doesnt auto calibrate (.not even distance , dont dream about altitude)
It is no way in hell im going to keep it.
Thinking about light it on fire on youtube so there is a point about its overrated ruggedness
Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Saphire not worth it
I really regret buying my Garmin Fenix 7 pro Saphire. My boyfriend is just setting an alarm on his Ap*le watch by voice command, no tapping needed, while I need to do all so steps to set a basic alarm...So much tapping for any basic thing for this watch, no voice commands avaliable. Even for syncing with my phone I need to do it by tapping! Other watches (much cheaper ones) sync automatically. My phone costed more than double of my bf's. Except for a longer (not that long in reality) lasting battery, there are 0 benefits. If you enable power saving on, to have more battery days, the watch will track almost 0 things. If you have your phone on a normal battery setting, the watch will last you just 5 days and a half, that's it. Maybe if I lived in a sunnier region, the screen would save more light. But for Netherlands, it's 5 days and a half, maximum, for me. And they promise 24...not happening...
The watch is not worth it's price
Wish I had never ordered from Garmin
Wish I had never ordered from Garmin. Ordered Forerunner 570. It's 2 days late which I can accept but neither Garmin or UPS can tell me where it is or when it will turn up. They won't let me file a claim yet either. So £460 out my bank account and no watch. if it does ever turn up it will be returned. If not, small claims court. So disappointed.
Totally unacceptable customer service
I had a Garmin for 4 years and loved all the features, but it eventually died so I bought a new Venu 2s in Sep 2024. Floor tracker stopped working (and other weird things odd) so I ordered a replacement in June 2025 under the warranty. I could write an essay about how I've been messed about by Garmin customer service who have been downright underhand, but I can't bothered to spend any more time on them and have decided I will probably have to write off the money I spent on the 2s. However, I did want to make a public statement about Garmin which is basically that don't touch them with a barge pole!!
garmin has no customerservice
I bought a Fenix pro saphire watch from garmin Netherland in september 2025, worth almost €1000 Euro. In my account it was written deliverd, but I never received the watch. I filled couple contactforms on their website, but they never responded, I tried to call them but nobody answered (3th party customerservice). They have livechat on their website, but everytime it's someone else and they all literally don't give a F.ck!
I had to repeat my story everytime. As soon as the chat is ended you wil never speak to them again, so they really don't care. The last guy (jeffery) literally said, " it's your problem". So €1000 euro is gone.
They respond within hours when you want to buy a garmin product, but soon as your money is in their account, they don't care anymore!
Don't buy from garmin (Netherland), because you will lose your hard earnd money
Beware, money in lake
My package was marked as delivered on 18/10, but I never received it. I reached out to customer support, and it’s been a week now with zero response. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing to be ignored like this. If something goes wrong with your order, don’t expect any help—you’re completely on your own. I strongly recommend staying far away from this site.

Fraud garmin
Garmin shipped my order in a completely empty box. When I picked it up from the collection point, it was suspiciously light, so I started a record immediately without opening the package. When I finally opened it, the box was empty — and I sent the video evidence to Garmin.
After 5–6 days, they told me they can’t do anything and that I should contact the courier company myself.
The product I ordered cost £850, and now they expect me to track down a product I never received.
Their customer service is absolutely terrible. ⚠️
Think twice before ordering anything online from Garmin.
Very Disappointed – Not Worth the Money
I’m extremely disappointed with my Garmin 7S Pro Sapphire Solar Edition, which cost me £550. The watch comes with only a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, and now, after exactly two years, the start/stop button stopped working.
To make matters worse, before the button failed, my son accidentally disabled the touch screen, so without this button the watch is completely useless.
I contacted Garmin for support, and to my surprise, the company does not offer repairs — only a replacement with a newer model for an extra £260. This means the total cost of this watch would be over £800, which is outrageous. For that price, I could have bought a beautiful and stylish silver watch — yes, without the sports functions or “solar charging” (which, by the way, is completely useless and doesn’t work as advertised).
Honestly, an Apple Watch costs about the same. I own two of them, both 5–7 years old, and they still work perfectly. And if anything breaks, Apple actually offers repairs.
I’m very disappointed with both the quality of the Garmin watch and the company’s lack of repair options, which feels like nothing more than a way to push customers to pay more. With all due respect, this feels like a scam.
For the amount of money I paid, I would have expected the watch to last at least five years without issues. What’s even worse is that I’ve only used it for everyday wear — no intense training, no swimming, always removed before showers or baths. Two years of light use for a £550 device is a disgrace.
Shame on you, Garmin.
Creating consistently awful products for decades
I’ve had various Garmin products over the years and they have all been really poor. It’s almost like Garmin designs things without actually testing them. Their customer service is also awful and their software is even worse than their hardware !!!

What a piece of rubbish
The Garmin Connect website is broken
The Garmin Connect website is totally broken.
I need to login ever and ever again, remember me and remember this browser is checked in vain.
It’s extremely annoying and the support won’t fix this ...
Deeply Disappointed by Garmin’s Customer Service
I’ve been a loyal Garmin customer for years, but this recent experience has been shockingly poor. I placed an order on 11 September and had no update for over a week, only to find out the item was out of stock. No one contacted me within the advertised processing time, and when I reached out myself, communication was terrible. Several emails were ignored, and when I finally spoke to someone, I was told no discount or goodwill gesture could be offered for the delay and inconvenience.
My order was eventually cancelled, and I was told to reorder the same product in a different colour. I was also assured my refund would be fast-tracked, yet I’ve since been told it could take between five and thirty days to receive my money back. That means I have to wait weeks to reorder something that should have been available in the first place.
From start to finish, this has been a really disappointing experience. I expected far better from Garmin, a brand I’ve supported and trusted for a long time. The lack of communication, poor handling of stock issues, and total absence of customer care have completely undermined my confidence in the company.
Miss sold service and product
Miss sold service and product. No attempt to rectify the situation what so ever.
Awful - buy an Apple Watch instead
I was excited to receive my first garmin watch. What a totally awful product.
The controls are so counter intuitive. It's like operating a watch made in the 1980s.
The watch continually switches itself off despite me turning off the battery saver mode. Sometimes I have to keep pressing the on button to get it back on.
The app is also just as bad. Navigating it is truly awful and, again, counter intuitive.
It's about to be returned as I've lost my patience with it entirely!
Great product with poor poor logistics
I was really excited to try the Garmin Venu 4, but unfortunately, I had to cancel my order due to issues with the delivery company. The process felt unreliable and frustrating—updates were unclear, and the watch never reached me as expected.
It’s disappointing because Garmin has a strong reputation for quality products, but the delivery partner chosen really let the experience down. When you’re spending this much on a premium device, the expectation is smooth service from checkout to unboxing, and sadly that wasn’t the case here.
I can’t comment on the performance of the watch itself since I never received it, but I would encourage Garmin to review their logistics partnerships. A great product deserves an equally strong delivery process
Garmin Drive 51 is perfect
I own since 2017 a simple Garmin Drive 51 tool (€ 149,00). It is still operating and I receive yearly updates of cards. I recommand Garmin products.
Shambolic order process - refusing to accept order from existing customer, billing address = shipping address
Tried to order a Vivoactive 6 on Garmin's website to replace the Forerunner 245 I'd ordered from them in 2021. Can see the pending payment on Garmin's website but a few hours after accepting the order, Garmin cancelled it for 'security reasons' and suggested I ordered again. I tried using a different card (Mastercard on Paypal) and Garmin's site wouldn't have that (despite it working fine everywhere else) so I paid by Amex. Again after a few hours I got another email cancelling my order. My billing address is the delivery address, I've ordered products from Garmin before, so I called up to ask what on earth was going on. I was met with a customer services advisor who just said that the system had flagged up a security issue and I should try again or use a third party retailer.
It's a good way to reduce sales, I guess?
Garmin saved my life.
Garmin saved my life when I was driving, Ill never forget have Garmin save my video allowing me to win the court case for 9.4 benjazillion dollers (my countries local currency roughly equating to 652 dollars American)
I beg you people not buy Garmin…
I beg you people not to buy Garmin products and find better options because EVERYTHING out there is better than Garmin. It's a complete scam. I've paid almost £500 for a watch that less than 6 months in needs to be charged DAILY. I'm either missing workout or sleep tracking or both. I've even called them... was advised to SWITCH OFF FEATURES FOR WHICH I BOUGHT THIS WATCH!!! Scummy company. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS!!!
Most features work
Most features work, but I've never had one of their watches with everything working as it should. The watches work for about 4 years before the battery doesn't hold a charge. Pretty expensive when you look at it from that perspective.
