What a silly business GAP is doing Europe. After receiving a product which was wrong I send the product back. After 3 weeks I still didn't get my money back. While I emphasized that what they were doing is illegal in European law, they still refuse to give the money back. They received my package and send it to their warehouse in Czech republic. The package got lost and now I have to wait for DHL to investigate. What a shame
Online experience extremely poor
Placed an online order on 20/12/25 by 5/1/26 nothing had arrived (3/5 working days quoted) and no update. Contacted customer service who said items were out of stock and they hadn’t contacted me because they were waiting to see if more stock came in to the warehouse. As all were sale items I very much doubt they would ever have been restocked. GAP/Next were quick to take full payment hopefully the refund will be issued quickly too!
Be very wary about ordering online from this company.

Poor return policy and bad customer service
Just return two new items, ran two remote different locations. One is outlet store and cannot receive return. Several days later went retail store and refuse due to over return day and told me the online shop has 60 days. Call online department, being told change back to 30days for return. Ask to talk with manager and no explain to me that the manager is not available and ask me to call tomorrow. Only 20 dollar items, my gasoline and time cost is already over the $20. Not about money, Just DO NOT like Gap's customer service.
Never buying from gap again
In January I returned a jacket I bought from Gap.
It's been 3 months and I'm still waiting for the money back!
Appalling service. No goods.No apology. No refund.
Made an order. They deducted my account immediately. After over 2 weeks I contacted them to find out where my order was. They made no apolgy but said they had technical problems with online orders. i therefore asked for reimubrsement. After a few more emails asking them to confirm reimbursement they said my order had been delivered and gave me a residential address a few hundred miles away of some unknown person! Still no apology or any indication what they were going to do about. I again asked for a refund! Several times again since via email, Messenger and Instagram. Nothing whatsoever. I have never,ever, received such appalling customer service. This is a big international company! What are you playing at?

Awful, awful customer service. Not clued in at all. I placed an order twice, in error, within 30 minutes of each other. Sent them an email immediately, asking them to cancel one of them. Got a reply the following day to say they would investigate the matter and come back to me as soon as they could - I had given them ALL the details that they needed, so I couldn't understand why they couldn't act there and then. So that was too late and I received both orders, one 5 days after the other. Returned 3 items to them 4 weeks ago. No refunds yet. Emailed them today with details of the date returned, the order numbers and the tracking numbers. Got a reply (not an automated one) from some lady asking me to send her details of the tracking numbers if the goods were returned more than 15 days ago. She didn't even bother to read the details I had in my email. Now I'm worried that they will not process the refund
Always low in stock .
Twice in a row I have had to send trousers back for a refunds they were not as described . Meant to be skinny fit but were actually very baggy and were in fact bigger and wider in the leg than straight fit trousers I already own. What makes it worse is I usually have to wait months for my size to be available as 90% of the time Gap has only got about half their sizes available! why don't they keep stock up to date and have all sizes available for buyers. I get constant emails with offers but can rarely purchase anything as their stock levels are so low.
Awful service
Awful service! Firstly delivery takes ages, took about 3 weeks to receive orders recently, and that’s not an issue with macro shipping issues like evergreen’s or covid etc. Secondly it took a month and a half for them to process a return, for them to follow on with a snotty email telling me my return didn’t meet their return guidelines (with no explanation what I did wrong) - I returned it perfectly, did it to a tee, in original packaging folded in the original GAP transportation bag with return labels inside and attached. 15 day return policy is ridiculous too, I’d hazard a guess it was this that triggered a snotty email since it took GAP 3 weeks to fulfil my order in the first place.
GAP.eu doesn't really care
Parcel didn't arrive and after a few days track&trace was unknown to the courier. First response of customer service on my complaint was standard for anyone who is asking about delay. My response was not so standard: I was really annoyed. They looked into it and the parcel is lost. They promiss to return my refund. Wait and see. Strange I must send them emails. It seems like nobody really cares. Not again.

Jeans ripped in the gusset in two wears - GAP want it returned before confirming whether a refund / replacement would be provided or even discussed.
Most people have worn a lot of jeans - I wonder how many people have ripped a pair in the gusset.. and how many within a couple of wears.

If I could rate this lower I would ! Returned over 28 days ago, received by them in 2 days, chased up numerous times ! They now inform me that the refund is processed but may take one or two !! statements before I see it on my credit card…..how can they justify this ?

Absolutely disgusting service
Absolutely disgusting service. Sent my returns on 24 th November and Royal Mail confirm Gap received them on 27th November. Emailed twice with the same response from Sandra stating 15 working days for refund. It clearly states 5 to 7 working days on website. Never again! Just returned an item to Hush.. In comparison.. Returned on 6th of December and already they're crediting my account

GAP puts themselves on the BA Avios estore shopping portal, yet when you adhere 100% to the way to shop on this site to earn rewards, they are still denied.
Online Order Never Arrived…
I got my shipment notification from GAP on 9/9/21. They currently work with Hermes for delivery. Today is 29/9/21 and I am still waiting for my parcel. I wrote to GAP customer service and they told me they will refund the money but I want my items rather than a refund. When I track my items on Hermes' website it says 'on its way'. That means GAP gave the parcel to Hermes and somehow it went missing. I tried to reach Hermes but it is impossible to contact them as their lines are so busy. In Ireland GAP works with FASTWAY so I rang them, and they also don't answer. GAP has to call the delivery companies to ask about the missing package, not me actually. ------My order was for my husband's and my father's birthday gifts. I am really disappointed with GAP as they know very well that this delivery system doesn't work for Ireland but they are not doing anything to change it. That is clear from all the bad reviews here.
